There's A Reason Her Eggs Are Rotting

As usual my obsession with reality took over my body and forced me to turn the channel the other night and watch the newest edition of The Bachelor. I swear I am addicted to reality television of any kind. How else can I explain why I tortured myself for an hour by watching this show? As usual the show had a good looking successful Bachelor and a bevy of desperate, clingy, and sometimes even deranged women. Where exactly do they find these women? Are women so desperate for a man that they will continue to sell their souls to find one? I know everyone would like her 15 minutes of fame and all but isn't their dignity worth so much more than those lousy 15 minutes.
This time around our Bachelor is Travis, an ER doctor from Nashville TN. Now I will admit that Travis is a good-looking guy and he is a doctor. Many young girls grow up dreaming of one day marrying a doctor so I get why that would make some women fall to pieces. Personally though, I don't see the big attraction for Travis. Those women were swooning over him the same way they might swoon if Brad Pitt had walked thru the door. Please ladies Travis is no Brad Pitt. Did you also notice how fast those women spread around the fact that he was a doctor? From that point on I kept hearing that Kayne West Gold digger song in my head. They could have at least tried to hide the money signs in their eyes.
Now don't get me wrong, there were some ladies that did seem very nice. I liked Elizabeth. She seemed like a very shy girl who was just happy to be there. She will probably be the sweet innocent girl that gets her heart broke. For some reason I also liked Cole but I'm not sure why. She didn't say a whole lot but I really liked her. I also like Sarah B. who he gave the first rose too. She looks like a nice girl who will be fun to watch. Unfortunately there were far more women there that bothered me than there were that endeared themselves to me. One person that annoyed me a lot was Moana. From the moment she walked out of the limo I could tell she was trouble. She reminds me of Sarah Michelle Gellar's character in the movie Cruel Intentions. I have a feeling that this girl is going to the cause of a few of the catfights we have been promised. She seems very catty and cold and I hope she goes home soon.
Another person that rubbed me the wrong way was Yvonne. She seemed really fake to me. I was actually surprised he picked her. She gets just a minute to say something to him and she tells him how coordinated he looks. I 'm really sure that he picked the tie he had on because it matched his eyes. I had high hopes for Sarah S. from Nashville, but she blew that. When asked if she was nervous about meeting Travis, she replied that she was more nervous to meet the other girls. To me that came across like she was more interested in sizing up the competition than she was at checking out the grand prize. I was really surprised that he picked her because I was sure she was a goner. On top of all that, did you see her eyes? They kind of scare me when she starts staring at Travis. They get really big and she gets this psychotic look on her face. I think the other girls might want to watch her.
I am not sure why but Tara and Kristen rub me the wrong way. I think part of the reason I don't like Kristen is because she brought Travis a gift. I have never liked the people who bring gifts the first night. I think it is cheesy and makes the person look bad. It looks like they are trying to buy one of the roses. As for Tara, I didn't really remember her, but when she got a rose I remember thinking "how did she get a rose?" There is just something about her that bothers me and I haven't figured it out what it is yet. I will have to keep an eye on her so I can figure out why I don't care for her.
Okay now there are a few ladies that got a rose that bugged me......
