The season finale of The Bachelor starts with taking a look at the emotional journeys of Tessa and Bevin and how they became the final two.
It was clear that Bevin and Andy had chemistry from the start. Bevin fought the hardest to win Andy's heart, and when she fell, Andy was right there to help. In Lake Tahoe Andy and Bevin developed a deeper connection. But Bevin was hiding a big secret. Bevin waited until her hometown visit to break the news (her secret) to Andy. Bevin had been married before. Andy understood, and it made Bevin's love for Andy even stronger. In Hawaii, they took their relationship to the next level.
But Bevin isn't the only one trying to win Andy's heart. From the very beginning Tessa showed Andy her personality. Corny Jokes - Remember the talking muffins in the oven? Sharing Andy with the other ladies proved hard for Tessa. Andy convinced Tessa to stay with a date of a lifetime. On Tessa's hometown date, Andy finally received the answer that he was looking for. In Hawaii, their relationship grew even more intimate. Tessa confessed that she is falling in love with Andy.
Andy is going to take Tessa and Bevin to Langston, Pennsylvania, to meet his parents, sister, and grandparents. Andy tells his family about Tessa, that she has a master degree, and is a social worker in San Francisco. Andy also mentions that Tessa's family is on the east coast. Interesting that he chose to mention Tessa first. What do you think? Andy then tells the family about Bevin, Andy tells them that Bevin also lives in the Bay Area, and getting her Master's in Psychology.

Andy's mother tells us she's felt that Andy is ready to settle down. She says that she's felt for the last two years that Andy has wanted a partner, and not be a bachelor anymore. Andy asks his family to please keep an open mind about Tessa and Bevin because one of them may be an addition to the Baldwin family. Andy says lets show them what we are all about, and the Baldwin's put their hands together like a huddle and shout "Operation Soul Mate".
The first to meet Andy's family is Tessa. Tessa has lunch with Andy's family. Andy says that he thinks that his grandfather will ask some tough questions, but his sister will ask the really hard questions. Tessa pulls up to Andy's house and they hug. Tessa tells us that she is excited about meeting her possible future in-laws. Tessa and Andy's mom hug and she meets all of Andy's family.
Andy excuses himself and Tessa tells everyone that her family lives about 20 minutes from where they are. Tessa also tells the family that her mother met her father on an Inca trail while they were on vacation, Andy chimes in that Tessa really believes in fate and destiny, and that is why she came on the show. Andy's mom asks for Tessa's forgiveness for staring. Andy's mom says that Tessa is so beautiful.
Andy's Mom says that she would describe Tessa as bright, poised, very natural and real. Andy's Mom says that she is very drawn to Tessa.
Andy asks his grandfather what he thinks of Tessa. Andy's Grandfather says that if he was younger, Tessa was the kind of girl that would really appeal to him. Andy and his Grandfather have a laugh.
At lunch Andy's Mom and Dad tell a story about how they met in College. Andy's grandfather asks Tessa about her religious beliefs. Tessa informs everyone that she was brought up Catholic, but she has not been a practicing catholic since she was a child. Andy's mother sensing the discomfort changes the subject and asks Tessa why she chose Social Work as a profession. Tessa tells everyone about how she councils at risk youth who were in foster care. Tessa says that she just has a think for social justice.
Andy's mom asks Tessa.....
