In this Monday's episode of the Bachelor in Paris, the Chosen 12 vie to be
the one that gets Travis' first kiss. Before narrowing down the field of beauties, Travis tries to charm all of them, at once, on a romantic dinner date atop the Arc d'Triomphe. But even in Paris, rain can ruin an outdoor setting, and the evening comes to a wet ending.
The stakes for the first individual date are high: during the date, Travis
must decide to give the lady a rose - or send her home. And the coveted
first date goes to self-described "hopeless romantic" Kristen. Thoughtful
Travis even phones her mom, to see what sort of food she likes! Will the
girl who charmed her high school as 1997 Homecoming Queen be able to charm
Travis with poetry? Spoilers say she will be the first to go back to the USA, this
week.
Another date this week will be a helicopter ride to a French winery, where
another rose will be up for grabs along with some delicious French wine. I haven't heard who snags the flower at this date.
At the final cocktail party before the Rose Ceremony, everyone is anxious to
be the one who gets that first kiss. Travis becomes thoughtful again, when
he surprises Susan with a birthday cake. She is delighted, but Tara and
Jehan seethe with jealousy. They finally have had enough, and crash the
cozy party. An insecure Sarah B. is also jealous of Travis' other
flirtations, and vies for some alone time. I've dicovered that she
stays around, but does Travis sense that she is not as serene as she seems?
Over the weekend I learned that Jehan eventually rejects Travis'
rose, but I'm pretty sure that won't happen in this episode. I've also found
that Susan has a blog, and that she hints she is dating someone other than
Travis.
The wildest spoiler this week is that lovely Sarah B from Canada, whose
profession is listed as a "student", has not even graduated from high
school! She allegedly also doesn't drive. She is currently trying (again)
to get her diploma, and has tried her hand at acting. She has appeared in
an upcoming movie, called "Tamara".
I have heard that Cole goes home this week, but here is who I
am predicting will go home; just guesses, not really spoilers:
Kristen: Spoilers say she goes as a result of the first one-on-one date,
where Travis is uncomfortable with her poetry and sends her packing.
Yvonne: I think he gave her the rose out of gratitude for rescuing him from
the Allie G conversation. I don't think she is really his "type".
Sarah S: Though some are sure she went pretty far. Some say that TV crews
have been interviewing her family and friends, but that could just be
because she went further than week one. I picked her to go home, because I thought her eyes looked really scary last week, but Travis may not see this, and keep her on.
Shiloh: I have heard nothing against her, but she is the one that I had ranked next-to-last in the ratings so I picked her to go home.
