Big Brother 7 All Stars: Cry Me A River
Episode 6 Recap by Matt B.
July 19, 2006

Previously on Big Brother 7 All Stars: Alison was evicted in an 8 to 2 vote, with Diane and Nakomis being the only ones to vote the other way. Hmm… I wonder where those two names come up again! Kaysar became HOH and got closer to Erika. The food competition introduced the houseguests to the replacement to the dreaded PB&J - slop. Literally, it's slop. Let's just say everyone was pretty grossed out. Instead of targeting Chill Town (Boogie and Dr. Will) like a normal person, Kaysar made a deal with them. So, he nominated Diane and Nakomis, a move I completely hate..
In his nomination speech, Kaysar basically tells Diane and Nakomis that they are both better players than he could ever be, and therefore, he needs them on the block. Which is true, so enough said. The meeting adjourns and Diane interviews that being nominated sucks. There's an insight. Marcellas is irate, interviewing, "I'm not happy about Kaysar's lame ass nominations. You know Mike Boogie and Will are coming after you, and you nominate two girls!?" Janelle kind of agrees, while Dr. Will thinks Kaysar was smart to put up "placeholders" like Nakomis and Diane, instead of him and Boogie. Of course he'd think that. Nakomis is kind of baffled by the nomination, interviewing that she's up with her only alliance - a two person alliance - so how much of a threat can she be?
Diane starts to cry, so Kaysar follows her into the red bedroom, where Nakomis is waiting. Diane crawls into bed and just bawls. She tells Kaysar that she respects him and he apologizes for nominating her, though privately acknowledging in the diary room that this is, in fact, a game and someone must go home. I know that, but why Diane and Nakomis? Why? Annoying Boogie can go ASAP and I'd be thrilled, but these two are different.
After Kaysar leaves the room, Marcellas joins the girls. Diane mentions that it is so hard this time around and Nakomis interviews that it's even harder when she's nominated against her only friend and the only person she trusts in the house. I love their friendship. I never would have expected they'd be friends, especially after Diane screwed Nakomis over in season five, but now that they are friends, they're really great together. I don't want them split up! Diane breaks down even more, yelling that she isn't cutthroat or smart anymore because she "killed all her brain cells because [she] SMOKED TOO MUCH POT!!!" She literally screams that last part; it's really funny.
As Danielle comes in to quickly comfort Diane, Nakomis interviews that Diane has a knack for making people feel sorry for her. We see this first hand as Boogie comes in to comfort Diane alone. Wait, Boogie, comfort someone? Nope, he's there to scheme. He lies to her that he and Kaysar never made a deal. Immediately, the Big Brother editors show us the deal making session between Boogie, Dr. Will, and Kaysar again. I love the editors sometimes. Only sometimes, though. For his part, Boogie does interview that he enjoys Diane and thinks she's an amazing person.
Later, in the storage room, Dr. Will and Boogie meet to talk strategy. They are literally laughing about not being nominated in the diary room too, so real good job there Kaysar.
So the pet this season is some tarantulas in a glass box. I'll admit that it's a step up from the fish they had the last couple seasons, but I still want them to have a real pet, such as lizards or a puppy, like in the early seasons. Although, with this cast, I'd be afraid the dog would starve if someone like Boogie or Howie was assigned to feed it. So, I change my mind - tarantulas are just fine. Anyway, Janelle, Marcellas, and James have decided to name the spiders the names of the houseguests who didn't get in the house. Cowboy is the little one, Bunky's the hairiest one, Monica's the blackest one, and Lisa's the pretty one.
This next clip is basically a "Let's feel sorry for Jase" segment. He regales James with the story of his family and how much he loves his girlfriend, Heidi, and her daughter, Callie. He says that he feels like he finally won Callie over (she even calls him daddy!), but then he had to leave her. Okay, I'll bite. Awwww!
That night, Dr. Will, Boogie, Jase, Erika, and Chicken George are hanging out at the hot tub. Dr. Will suggests that, no matter what, two people from the Sixers must go on the block next week. He interviews that he wants to create anger towards the Sixers, so that the group can take them out as he watches from the sidelines. Except, in order to take out the Sixers, his alliance needs HOH, so he may need to get his butt off the sidelines and win the HOH competition. Erika, who is close to the Sixers, interviews that she likes the Sixers but also knows that she's the odd one out in that group, so she will have to go with the other side of the house eventually. Boogie asks Chicken George directly what he is going to do. Chicken George tells him that he has no choice but to go after the Sixers.
So, the wacky Howie.....
