Big Brother 7 All Stars: James - "This Is Not A Team Sport"

Last night on Big Brother 7 All Stars, Nakomis had her chat with Julie, who was wearing a dress, of course it was black. The HoH competition went as predicted with Chill Town losing again and a battle between the BB6'ers and the floaters going down to the line. James beat out Danielle for the HoH title. It is his first HoH win, although he has four PoV's to his credit.
So what is he going to do with it now that he has it? That is the question on every good hamsters mind. And they all wanted to talk to him about it last night.
But before we get into what they each had to say let's look at some other questions regarding James. And here is number one on my mind. Is he a part of the season six alliance or is he playing the game just for himself? The answer is yes. Both ways. I don't think James is the most honest, the most ethical, or the most moral player in the house. But he is smart and he knows what is best for him. And I am sure he knows that when it comes to the BB6'ers he is number four at the bottom of the totem pole. If he should make final two and be up against Janelle or Kaysar, I believe he would lose. More importantly, I believe he knows that. I would suspect he even thinks he could lose to Howie.
So James is smart enough to play this game for himself first and always. But he will ride the coat-tails and the safety net of the BB6'ers for as long as he can. Why not, it's the smart move. And I think Janelle and Kaysar are well aware that that is the situation.
James made a point last night of telling everybody who came up to the HoH room to chat with him, except the BB6'ers, that "This is not a team sport". He is making himself open to other alliances and other options.
It is becoming clear to me that he has an alliance with Danielle. It's a smart move. If he can take her to final two there is a very good chance he will win it all even if his season six "team-mates" are not all on the jury. He's playing a smart game.
After the HoH competition and the HoH room reveal, James did spend a little time in the room with the BB6'ers. Marcellas was hanging around as well. James finally told them,
"We have to make sure there is a target left in the house after this week. Let me talk to people because right now the only thing they are talking about is the four of us being up here."
James called each of the hamsters up to HoH room individually. He did not want to talk to them in groups and he did not want to talk to them with the other BB6'ers present. This should be sounding alarm bells for Kaysar and probably, Janelle as well.
Here are some of the highlights of his conversations -
Will and James
James asked Will if he wanted to go and Will explained that the producers promised things to him that have not been delivered. And as soon as he says that, the feeds get cut. Will does this kind of thing a lot, and I honestly don't know if he is being honest, or doing it because he knows they will cut the feeds when he does and he just likes to stir things up.
When the feeds return, James is telling Will that he does not want to send him home this week. Will says that he loves this game but that he will not go to sequester. He has made this clear repeatedly. He does not want to waist his time in the sequester house. He says that if they raise the prize money to a million he would stay and play the game, otherwise he wants out. He has threatened to walk if he is not out this week or next.
James asks him how he feels about going up as a pawn and Will tells him he does not mind and again says he won't go to sequester.
Will asks James who he wants out and James replies, "There is a certain person who drives me up the wall, it's George. But what if they take out the person up against him?"
Will continues his whining. I don't get it, he signed up for this. But he says, "I don't want to lose my practice. I can't go to sequester. It will ruin my practice. If they said a million dollars, or a twist,…I've got to get out of this crazy hell hole." I don't understand what the twist might be that would keep Will in the house, but it is something he has said to several people.
James tells Will he is not going to nominate who the BB6'ers want because they "left him out to dry" last week. He is still angry that Kaysar nominated floaters and did not go after Chill Town, but mark my words, he is not going after Chill Town either. He is smart enough to want targets other than season six in the house just incase a floater wins the next HoH. James is smart but he holds other people up to different standards than he holds himself to.
Will is still singing his own tune saying that he is "banking on something big happening because they (the producers) promised him that."
