Big Brother 7 All Stars: HoH Part 2 - It All Changes Again

On Tuesday night’s Big Brother 7 All Stars we saw Erika and Janelle triumph over Chill Town and evict Will. We saw part one of the final Head of Household competition. Boogie threw it and Janelle was so shocked that she took her hand off the key and was eliminated. At less than two minutes it was not much of an endurance competition.
With Erika winning part one Janelle and Boogie were set to compete in the second part. The winner of that competition will go against Erika in part three. The winner of the third event becomes the final Head of Household who evicts one hamster and takes the other to final two.
The second part of the HoH was held last night. If you were watching the feeds then you know that Mike Boogie beat Janelle. If you don't have the feeds you should. They're free until the end of the show with the 14 day free trial.
Mike also won a brand new car. Seems a little odd that part one did not feature a prize and Erika had no chance at the car. But that’s the way it is.
Erika will now compete in part three against Mike Boogie. One of them will be the final HoH and determine the outcome of the game.
And that could change everything, again. Let’s look at the possibilities.
Janelle does not compete and will not be the final Head of Household. Her fate it now in the hands of Boogie and Erika. That’s not good for Jedi Jani.
If Boogie wins and becomes the final HoH I have no doubt that he will evict Janelle. He knows that he may not be very popular with the jury. He knows that he may not have many votes, although he is hoping that Will is working the jury on his behalf. But if he were to take Janelle to final two he knows he would lose. So he will evict Janelle and take Erika to final two and hope for the best.
If Erika wins the final HoH we will really have an interesting situation. And I’m hoping she does just so we can watch it play out. Erika promised Janelle that she would take Janelle to final two over Boogie. She promised she would kick the Boogie Man out. She promised on her Mother. She promised on her family. She promised over and over again. Janelle believed her. At least as much as you can believe anyone in the game of Big Brother.
But will Erika honor her promise? I don’t know.
If Erika goes against Mike Boogie in the final two she might win the juries vote. And she might not. But at least she would have a chance at it. But if she takes Janelle to final two she has no chance at all. Janelle would probably win it by a unanimous vote. And in an Erika vs. Janelle vote then Janelle would deserve the win.
Erika knows all this. So does Janelle and Mike.
Here’s what might well happen. We may see Erika throw the competition. She knows Mike will take her over Janelle and that would remove the burden of the promise from Erika’s shoulders. I think this idea may appeal to Erika and it would not surprise me to see it play out. From the viewpoint of Erika trying to win the game it might be her best option.
But she did promise Janelle she would kick Mike out. Will her conscious let her throw it? I think so.
I think Mike would be happy to see it go down that way. He can evict Janelle and maybe earn a little credit with the jury for kicking out this season’s competition monster. And in a Mike vs. Erika final two I think Mike would win. He would be perceived as having been a part of Chill Town and the massive strategy that controlled the game. And Erika would be seen as a "floater". Being a floater is not a respected strategy by the jury. But if it gets you to final two I think it is a pretty good plan.
But given all that, maybe the very best that Erika can hope for is to finish second. Erika told Janelle she is playing for second, she would be happy with second, and that she wanted Janelle to win it.
Erika put an end to Chill Town when she convinced Janelle they were being played. It was Erika that evicted Will. Janelle just made the announcement.
Now Erika is going to determine, one way or another, who goes to final two and given that the best she can hope for is second, she is going to determine the winner.
Will she honor her word to Janelle? Will she jump at the slim to none chance and go with Boogie?
We are going to find out tonight.
