Big Brother 7 All Stars: Is Kaysar's Plan Falling Apart?

Commentary by Jason Mak
July 16, 2006

Last night in the Big Brother 7 All Stars house I watched an interesting conversation between James and Janelle. I just had to dish the dirt for you on the drama that is unfolding in the house.

For about an hour or so, James and Janelle stressed over Kaysar's "deal" with Chilltown (Will and Mike Boogie). I didn't see the actual deal or when it took place, (you can read about it here) but JJ (James and Janelle) are flipping furious over Kaysar's alleged conversation with Chilltown.

As you may or may not know, Kaysar decided to put Nakomis and Diane on the block, and Erika won the power of veto. Kaysar apparently made a deal with Chilltown to keep them safe this week, and in return, expect Will and Boogie to lay off Deep Six (BB6 Crew) next week - should they actually win or even attempt to win HOH.

James is pissed since he was left out of the loop and thought Kaysar was only socializing with Chilltown rather than actually giving them his promise of immunity. Both James and Janelle spent a lot of time in the bedroom discussing how Chilltown cannot be trusted. For anyone who's watched Big Brother from the start, you know that Will is the single most-untrustworthy player in Big Brother history. And that is a fact! Re-watch the tapes and count the lies.

Justifiably, James, Janelle and Howie doubt any leverage they have on Chilltown even with their "word of honor". As James put it, "If you're gonna make a deal, make a deal with the honest people." Well said. Nakomis and Diane are some of the most honorable players to their word in my opinion, especially in this house full of schemers like Danielle, Jase, and of course, Will and Booger. Wouldn't it make more sense to get Nakomis and Diane to buy in on your side? The odds of that must be better than Chilltown.

JJ's logic makes perfect sense to me. Why would Chilltown keep their promise? Why would they even try to win HOH next week! Surely it would be smarter to rally all the floaters against Deep Six. They really are the biggest threat, at least when it comes to HOH winning capability. The important thing to remember is that Will is lethal in the late game. He pits everyone against each other at a level that even Danielle and Alison can't match. If Deep Six kills off Chilltown, they'll be left with, essentially, a house of loose floaters who can be negotiated with on an ongoing basis. A fragmented house of three groups of twos are easier to control than an anti-Deep Six league led by Will and Boogie.

Ironically, on the current path Kaysar actually will end up looking bad anyway. Who would deal with the devil (Will)? Kaysar just did. That can't look good in the eyes of Nakomis, Diane, Erika, Marcellas, and Danielle which can and will affect the late game.

I warned Kaysar by shouting at my TV last season about trusting the wrong people, and so far it looks like his obsession with trusting lowlifes is still unwavering. He is the dumbest-smart-boy to ever play this game. Will may not be a 25-year-old cheerleader (cough cough Jennifer), but he's also an arrogant doctor whom I would not trust with even an x-ray.

One last ditch chance though: James asks Janelle to request a veto use from Erika, and then hopefully Kaysar will backdoor Will, or at least Jase. Will Kaysar start to play the game? Or will his obsession with presenting himself as honorable cost him and his entire team victory yet again? What do you think? Only time will tell.
