Canada's Next Top Model: Ranking The Top 5

Last week, a lot of stuff went down on Canada's Next Top Model.
For those of you who missed the past week, here's how it all (and very concisely) went down :
Girls went to the gym. Cori threw up.
Girls practiced pole dancing. Mo gave up.
Girl got reward. Cori went up (to collect her prize).
Girls had to jump on trampolines. Tara couldn't get her model inside her up (and out).
Girls went to the elimination.
The order that the ladies were called in was as follows
Cori
Rebecca
Tia
Sinead
Tara
Which means our exotic goddess, Mo, was eliminated. She had been performing okay throughout the competition, but her overall portfolio was kind of iffy. The judges felt her height was a big issue, even though they never really mentioned it before.
So we have five ladies left vying for the title of Canada's Next Top Model. Let's see how I ranked them for this week.
Rebecca
Current Ranking: 1
Alright, before I get a billion complaints for this, hear me out. Firstly, this girl is getting better and better each week. She's funny, she's smart, she doesn't piss anyone off and the judges really like her. Add that to the fact that she has a fairly unique look and you have all the qualities for a top model. I don't know how long she'll hold onto the top spot for, but we shall see.
Sinead
Current Ranking: 2
Sinead is the best model in the competition. She knows how to move, how to present herself, how to pose, and how to be neutral in arguments and such. There are two major downsides to Sinead. Firstly, she is constantly forgiving, and doubting herself. If the poor girl doesn't get her cajones together, she will be ripped apart in the fashion industry. This leads me to my second problem that I have with Sinead, and that is her desire to be in the competition. I don't feel it. I didn't feel it with Andrea last year, and look where she ended up. After (randomly) winning the competition last year, she opted to no longer pursue modelling. For some reason, if this girl wins, I don't doubt her doing the same thing.
Cori
Current Ranking: 3
I don't think Cori has what it takes to be a top model. I find her cutesy, but I don't find her edgy or unique, traits that all four other finalists have. I think this girl needs time to develop more of a style and edge, but for some reason, the judges love her. I guess if you want the top model to be a spokesperson for a Paris Hilton perfume, she's the girl to go with. Anything else, I would pass. Maybe she'll get better over the next few weeks. I hope.
Tara
Current Ranking: 4
Tara had a very bad week. Her photo was iffy, and her overconfidence really bit her in the ass. Having said that, for the first time this week, the girl showed some vulnerability when she spoke about her mother's condition. The conversation with Jay helped shed her robotic skin. That was Tara's major flaw in the past, her insincerity. (She always took a good photo). If Tara can learn to bring out her inner model and hold back her inner dance-diva, then this girl could end up at the number one spot. I'm almost rooting for her. Almost.
Tia
Current Ranking: 5
Let me say firstly that I love Tia and I want her to win. She is hands down my favourite CNTM contestant ever. Plus, I must know a dozen people who know her really well (being from the same city as her), and I would love for a Montreal girl to win. I don't see it happening though. Tia is good, but not great. What she has working for her though is that she tries harder than any other contestant at everything she does, and that's really keeping her afloat in this competition. Plus, the judges (and I) love her quirky look. If she pulls out a stunning shot this week (and not just by chance), then she may just be able to ride it to the end of the show. If she has one more shaky week, then I think the judges will have no other choice but to send her home. I'm hoping for the best.
So here they are! Five girls still hoping to become Canada's Next Top Model. Only one of them can win though. If it were up to me, Tia, Tara, Rebecca, and Sinead would live to see another day. However, in the end, Rebecca, Sinead, Cori, and Tara will probably be the lucky ones moving forward, with Tia being the unfortunate cast away. Find out Wednesday!
