Real World Road Rules Challenge - Drama Mafia Goes Down
November 7, 2006 Rankings by Logan Huffman
This week on 'Real World Road Rules: The Duel', Beth and Nehemiah fired up a showmance, vowing to keep each other safe from the duels.

The players competed in a challenge on a boat, where two players must try to knock each other off the plank of the boat with their hands bound. In the end, the Drama Mafia (Beth's nickname for Kina, Robin, Jodi, and Diem) only fueled Beth, giving her the determination to win the challenge. More importantly, Derrick defeated the others on the men's side, sparing himself possible elimination for the male Duel day.

During selection, Nehemiah was left out in the cold, thrown onto the chopping block for potential elimination. Nehemiah chose to battle Kenny, hoping to gain respect and stay in the competition.

Nehemiah selected Ascender as the Duel game, and at the Duel, Nehemiah handily stomped Kenny, causing him to be the fifth player eliminated from 'The Duel'.

After the challenge, realizing they were outsiders, the unlikely couple of Beth and Aneesa teamed up to battle against the Drama Mafia. They recruited Wes and Nehemiah to their side, and the four of them vowed to eliminate the Drama Mafia from the competition. Will they be successful? Find out next time on 'The Duel'.
Derrick
Current Ranking: 1 - Previous Ranking: 8

Derrick takes a huge leap up the scoreboard this week into the top position. He fought hard at the challenge, defeating two of the strongest men and Eric, who had quite the advantage with his weight. Derrick is proving to the others that he is a force to be reckoned with, which may make them think twice before challenging him to a duel.

Brad
Current Ranking: 2 - Previous Ranking: 4

Brad comes in second this week. He had a strong showing in this week's challenge, as he does in most of the challenges. He is well-liked, and I think that, combined with his strength, will leave anyone wary of challenging him.

Beth
Current Ranking: 3 - Previous Ranking: 12

I know, everyone thinks that I made a mistake, ranking Beth at number three this week. It isn't a mistake. I like Beth, partly due to the fact that the Drama Mafia hate her so much. She is a genius at the strategic element of the game, and is fantastic at getting under the other's skin. She took advantage of her "Tenderoni" staying, quickly using him in her brilliant new four-person alliance. Teaming up with Aneesa is genius, as she is one of the toughest girls competing. This alliance could take Beth and her teammates very far into 'The Duel', and honestly, I hope it does.

Aneesa
Current Ranking: 4 - Previous Ranking: 9

Aneesa also jumps up the scoreboard quite a bit this week. She was smart for being able to put aside her differences and team up with Beth. Aneesa is a huge target, and with no one on her side, she would have been challenged again very soon. This alliance may help her out a huge deal, and I think she has made a very smart game move.

Jodi
Current Ranking: 5 - Previous Ranking: 2

Jodi remains in the upper part of the scoreboard this week, due to the fact that she is a strong competitor. She consistently performs well in the challenges, and at least she tried to fake being nice to Beth. She shouldn't have anything to worry about, unless Beth's alliance chooses to target her first.

CT
Current Ranking: 6 - Previous Ranking: 7

CT is a great guy, and is well-liked by everyone. He is also an extremely tough and strong competitor, and I don't think he is going anywhere anytime soon. It is possible that he will be challenged by another player to a duel, but I think CT will be able to hold his own.

Evan
Current Ranking: 7 - Previous Ranking: 1

We didn't really see too much of Evan this week. He didn't make any mistakes, and he performed fine in the challenge, making it to a semi-final heat. I think that there are other guys that are stronger than him, but we know that he can win challenges, and I don't think he is in any danger at this point.

Diem
Current Ranking: 8 - Previous Ranking: 3

I still really like Diem, but she will be targeted by Beth for being a member of the Drama Mafia. Lucky for Diem, I think she is the last target of Beth's in the drama mafia, as all of the other members have been much more in Beth's face.

Eric
Current Ranking: 9 - Previous Ranking: 5

Eric isn't in the best position. He is liked by the other guys, but he is far less athletic than them all. Even in this challenge where he had a clear advantage due to his sheer weight over the other guys, he still lost. If Eric had been challenged to this week's Ascender duel, he surely would have lost, and if he is challenged to nearly any duel, he will most likely be eliminated.

Nehemiah
Current Ranking: 10 - Previous Ranking: 14

Nehemiah's new alliance with Beth (and his romance with her as well) does help him move up the scoreboard a little bit this week, but the fact of the matter is, he is still the one of the main targets of the guys, which could still put him in danger. He did prove himself to a degree with his performance in the duel, as I thought he was going to lose. He delivered a fantastic performance, easily defeating Kenny, and his performance could make the other guys think twice before challenging him again.

Wes
Current Ranking: 11 - Previous Ranking: 15

Wes moves himself up the scoreboard a little this week, based on his new alliance with Beth, Aneesa, and Nehemiah. The alliance is sure to put him in a better position that he was previously in, but he may be in danger of being the next guy challenged, as the other men may be wary of challenging Nehemiah after his excellent performance in this week's duel.

Robin
Current Ranking: 12 - Previous Ranking: 6

Robin is another girl who is high on the list of Beth's enemies. Robin doesn't hide her hatred for Beth, which could ultimately land her in a duel. Whether or not Robin will be able to survive that duel is something that only time will tell.

Casey
Current Ranking: 13 - Previous Ranking: 13

Casey stays in the same position on the scoreboard…again. She has been at the thirteenth position on the scoreboard for quite a few weeks now, and she's probably not going anywhere, unless she heads down to the bottom eliminated spots. Although she is a sweet girl and tries her heart out, Casey usually comes up short to the other girls. She just isn't as strong as them. It also doesn't help her any that her strongest ally, Kenny, was eliminated. However, Beth's new alliance could push Casey further into the competition, as she isn't even on Beth's radar.

Svetlana
Current Ranking: 14 - Previous Ranking: 16

Svetlana moves up the scoreboard a little bit this week, being indirectly affected by Beth's new alliance. Beth has other targets besides Svetlana, which could ultimately spare Svetlana for a while.

Kina
Current Ranking: 15 - Previous Ranking: 11

Kina falls to the bottom of the scoreboard this week. She is the most irritated by Beth, and I think Beth will target her first. If she and Beth or she and Aneesa go at it in a duel, I think Kina will come out the loser in either situation. The game may have been turned upside down, and Kina may now be in the most danger of being eliminated.

Kenny
Fifth Elimination

Kenny had a rough time. Although he is athletic, his strength paled in comparison to many of the other guys'. For whatever reason, Nehemiah decided that Kenny was the person he wanted to take to a duel, and even though I thought Kenny would surely win, Nehemiah proved me wrong, quickly stomping Kenny in the Ascender. Kenny was the fifth player to be eliminated from 'The Duel'.

Paula
Fourth Elimination

Even though Paula fell short in 'The Duel', she really impressed me with her toughness against Aneesa, one of the strongest and fiercest girls on the show. She held off Aneesa for an amazing eight minutes, which was something I didn't think Paula possessed the ability to do. If she hadn't been a Key West cast member, she may have made it much further into the competition. Despite her best efforts, Paula was the fourth player to be eliminated from 'The Duel'.

Tyler
Third Elimination

Even though Tyler tried his hardest, there is only so much you can do when everyone is against you. Tyler was the third person to be eliminated from 'The Duel' after challenging Derrick to a duel, and losing to Derrick in the ascension duel challenge.

Tina
Expelled

Tina was expelled from 'The Duel' after she lost her cool and punched Beth in the face. She was stupid for doing it, as she basically let Beth win the battle, and she just looked immature in the process. Tina's actions destroyed her chances at $150,000, making her the second person eliminated from 'The Duel'.

John
Eliminated: Episode 1

John was the first contestant to be eliminated from 'The Duel' after Tyler challenged him, and John unsuccessfully doubted Tyler's ability to lift thirty-one watermelons in 'The Duel' challenge.
