Dancing With The Stars 3: Bow Tie Boy Gone, Super Mario Leads

Last week on Dancing With The Stars there were a few surprises but for the most part the stars did just as I thought they would.
There were some that were good: Joey Lawrence.
Some that were great: Emmitt Smith.
And some that were just plain awful: Tucker Carlson.
Thankfully Tucker was booted and we won't have to see anymore of his "dancing", and I use that term lightly, again.
The weekly performance show is Tuesday's at 8pm e/p on ABC.
The results show airs Wednesday's at 8pm e/p on ABC.
Mario Lopez and Karina Smirnoff
Current Ranking: 1 - Previous Ranking: 4
I was a bit torn between Emmitt and Mario for the top spot but in the end I went with Mario. He did really good this week and he got the top spot from the judges. I think Mario has a very good chance of being one of the final couples standing.
Emmitt Smith and Cheryl Burke
Current Ranking: 2 - Previous Ranking: 9
Emmitt was definitely the surprise of the night. I never expected him to be so good. Actually I think he is probably better than Jerry Rice. The man can definitely move. It also helps that he has probably the best partner on the show.
Vivica A. Fox and Nick Kosovich
Current Ranking: 3 - Previous Ranking: 3
I didn't feel a need to move Vivica up or down this week. She did a great job and I think she will be a definite contender. Plus, she looks so great out there.
Joey Lawrence and Edyta Sliwinska
Current Ranking: 4 - Previous Ranking: 4
I think Joey did pretty well. It had to be hard to be the first person to dance but I think he did a pretty good job. I think he has a little work to do but I am shure Edyta can whip him into shape.
Monique Coleman and Louis Van Amstel
Current Ranking: 5 - Previous Ranking: 5
I was actually a little disappointed by Monique. I was expecting a little bit more. Of course I think she will be around awhile. My niece told me they are giving her tons of exposure on the Disney channel in the hopes all the teen viewers will vote. If you are an American Idol fan you know how those teen votes can change the competition. I think Monique might be around for awhile.
Jerry Springer and Kym Johnson
Current Ranking: 6 - Previous Ranking: 8
I think Jerry is going to be this season sentimental favorite. I think that might keep him around a little longer even though he is not the best dancer. It also helps that he has a huge fan base. You would think the same people who enjoy The Jerry Springer Show wouldn't be fans of this show but I guess not.
Harry Hamlin and Ashly DelGrosso
Current Ranking: 7 - Previous Ranking: 6
I bet Lisa has spent the week whipping her hubby into shape. I hope so because his performance last week was not that great. I think he has potential but he needs to loosen up and get into the dancing more.
Willa Ford and Maksim Chmerkovskiy
Current Ranking: 8 - Previous Ranking: 2
Willa is a singer and even though I am not a fan of her music I have seen some of her videos. She can move and in a way she sort of reminds me of Stacey Kibler. I think she will be the dancing princess of this season.
Shanna Moakler and Jesse DeSoto
Current Ranking: 9 - Previous Ranking: 7
I am not a fan of Shanna and I have no idea why she would want to do a show like this while she is going thru a nasty divorce. She has three kids and this show takes up a lot of time. I know she says that the show is helping her thru the divorce but I don't buy it. I also don't think she is that great of a dancer. I think she will be going home soon.
Sara Evans and Tony Dovolani
Current Ranking: 10 - Previous Ranking: 10
Sara promised she would do better this week and I hope she can deliver. If she can't I foresee another visit to the bottom three. Sara needs to get her nerves under control if she has any hopes of making it far in this competition.
Tucker Carlson and Elena Grinenko
Eliminated
