This week on the Real World/Road Rules Challenge: Fresh Meat, the women had their say.
Johanna confronted Wes about his blow up at her and the two makeup.
At the challenge, Coral and her big boobs helped as she and Evan scoop up the most oatmeal and get their fifth victory.
In exile, Johanna and Jesse made a huge blunder which cost them the lead and their placing in the game.
However, Johanna took Wes to task for his terrible behavior towards Casey and the others and Casey even unloaded on Wes. Wes promised to try harder, but will it hold? Find out next week.
Coral & Evan
Current Ranking: 1 - Previous Ranking: 1
All I need to say is this: 6 challenges, 5 victories........................................
Linette & Shane
Current Ranking: 2 - Previous Ranking: 3
After Coral and Evan, Shane and Linette have the most impressive record. These two have contended for a victory in just about every challenge now (finishing third this week) and gained the respect of everyone around. They are also a quiet team, which is a blessing given the usual raucous nature of these shows. They are an excellent team.
Chanda & Theo
Current Ranking: 3 - Previous Ranking: 2
These two are in a waning period right now. They finished a bit low in the rankings this week and they didn't perform too well last week either. I don't expect this sliding trend to last too long, but for now, I'm moving them down a bit.
Aviv & Darrell
Current Ranking: 4 - Previous Ranking: 4
These two haven't really contended for a victory yet, but they have performed solidly and haven't been a part of any drama. I'm keeping them here for now.
Diem & Derrick
Current Ranking: 5 - Previous Ranking: 5
These two made a jump back up in the rankings, but were still bested by a lot of the teams above them (in these rankings). I'm keeping them here for now.
Katie & Eric
Current Ranking: 6 - Previous Ranking: 7
Katie and Eric finished second in this challenge, but it wasn't a particularly physical or taxing one (carrying oats from one tub to another). Once things get down to the nitty-gritty, these two shouldn't be around too long.
Tina & Kenny
Current Ranking: 7 - Previous Ranking: 8
Now that Johanna and Jesse are gone, Tina and Kenny are officially the poorest performing team. They're not the weakest team; they have just consistently placed close to last or at least low in the rankings in multiple challenges. If they don't step it up, they could go home on the grounds of their bad performances.
Tonya & Johnnie
Current Ranking: 8 - Previous Ranking: 6
Something confusing happened with these two this week. First, Johnnie felt Tonya was unraveling even though we saw no signs of such a thing happening. Then, Tonya got upset with Johnnie for not trying very hard in the challenge (which we DID see). Then, Johnnie felt he shouldn't be the one to carry the weight for the team. You don't have to. You just have to try hard. With this crack in the foundation and Tonya's general unpopularity among the other veterans, these two could become quick and easy targets.
Casey & Wes
Current Ranking: 9 - Previous Ranking: 10
Last again. Wes was the focus through most of this episode because of his horrible attitude towards pretty much everyone. He was confronted by both Johanna and Casey about his treatment of others and he promised to try harder, but I certainly don't expect that to last long. Even though the Austin cast has been eliminated and he is the only one left, I don't expect the other veterans to go easy on him. He's ticked off too many people.
Johanna & Jesse
Elminated: Episode 5
Johanna and Jesse actually had a good run in this week's challenge, but it wasn't enough to save them from exile. A blunder on Wes and Casey's part (forgetting a flag) gave Johanna and Jesse the lead, but an even bigger blunder on their part (forgetting BOTH flags) squashed their chance of returning to the game. They are eliminated.
Melinda & Ryan
Eliminated Episode 3
Melinda had a defeatist attitude through the whole episode. In the beginning of this week's episode, she was heard calling Danny and admitting she didn't have much interest in being here without him. Since they didn't win the next challenge, they went into exile and even though they solved a puzzle and dropped their bags, it seemed like they wouldn't win. From the start, Melinda was struggling just to keep up. Forgetting to take the first flag only sealed their fate.
Ev & Danny
Eliminated: Episode 1
Everyone, including the Fresh Meat, knew that the Austin castmates would be immediately targeted and Danny's ouster was the veterans' plan in action. They were blindsided after Tonya revealed to the others that Wes tried to orchestrate a plan to vote out Shane & Linette. When the votes came out, despite an opportunity to switch things up, Danny & Ev were voted into exile and lost against Wes & Casey. I'm not sad to see Ev go because she took on a very superior and offputting attitude from the start, but I'm sad to see Danny go in such a manner.
