Last week on Pussycat Dolls Present: The Search for the Next Doll, the six remaining girls concentrated on being confident and sexy. Everyone piled on a bus and headed to Las Vegas to perform at the PCD Lounge in Sin City. With Sisely gone, Asia picked up the title of Drama Queen. Her biggest complaint was food, saying that salads are weird and she only eats "normal foods like cheeseburgers and French fries." I for one can't wait until all of the cheeseburgers and fries catch up with her in middle age!
Learning the vocals and choreography on the bus proved to be difficult for everyone, but they managed to get things worked out. Anastacia also had issues with food, but her problem was that she wanted to eat everything! The girls were given a limited number of choices when it came to wardrobe, and everything was too small for Anastacia. Melissa S. won the Vegas challenge, and safety from the upcoming elimination. After the competition, Anastacia ate everything in sight, and Asia whined until room service finally brought her a special cheeseburger and fries.
The next day, the girls were split into three groups of two to perform three ballads. One of the girls from the weakest pair would be eliminated. Asia got criticized harshly by the new vocal coach, which prompted more whining on her part. I don't think any of the girls really stood out when it came to the performances. It was also a little odd for them to be singing ballads to each other, especially with the theme of being confidently sexy.

When it came time for the judges to deliberate, Melissa R. and Melissa S. were the only ones that they all agreed should stay. In the end, it came down to Mariela and Chelsea. Mariela had strong dancing and Chelsea had strong vocals, so they needed to decide which was more important. The judges chose to keep Chelsea in the competition, and Mariela went home.
Tonight's episode begins at the house the morning after Mariela's elimination. Anastacia is trying to lose some weight and munches on some vegetables. She says that she felt Mariela was her biggest competition. With her out of the picture, Anastacia feels she has a better chance of winning, which has given her new motivation to get into better shape. Chelsea notices Anastacia's plate of veggies and says "oh, so now you've got a thing about your weight - you starve yourself anyway!" I'm not sure why, but this hits a nerve with Anastacia and she snaps at Chelsea, tells her to never say that again, and walks out of the room.
Later, a video message arrives from the Pussycat Dolls. This week's theme is "sassy but classy style." They had to the dance studio where Mikey (choreographer) and Robin (founder) join them. Robin introduces PCD Melody, who talks to them about style. For the next challenge, they will be the backup dancers as the PCDs perform their song "Wait a Minute" on national TV. The girl who gives the best performance will be safe from elimination. However, there is a catch - there is only room for four of the girls to perform! Robin tells them that they have one hour to work with Mikey on the choreography. Then the three will evaluate all five girls to pick the four who will perform.
Mikey and the girls get right to rehearsals. Melissa S. says that she's starting to wonder what her parents would think of her acting sexy. Mikey asks her where her "boob pads" are (no explanation necessary) and tells her that she needs to have them in for the rehearsals. She says she's not comfortable with them, but Mikey says he thinks they'll make her dance sexier. Next, Mikey turns to Anastacia. He tells us that her dancing is a little boring, which doesn't work since she's a "big girl with all that crazy hair." He tells Anastacia that she's making a "smelly face" and needs to stop making faces. He tells Chelsea that she "looks like a dead chicken" and tells us that she's a quick study with the choreography.
