Road Rules Viewer's Revenge: Tori Pukes And Goes To The Pit
Episode 3 Recap by Logan Huffman
February 20, 2007
Previously on 'Road Rules: Viewers' Revenge', Abe got into a fight with Adam, effectively getting himself kicked off of the RV. America voted Dan and Monte into The Pit, and Dan earned the right to take Abe's spot and join the RV.
As Susie, Adam, and Dan await the RV, they talk about Abe. Susie says that they were finally able to see just how much Abe could take. Dan says that if they provoke him, he'll just tickle him. Adam wonders who is driving the RV and why it is taking so long. Susie guesses Shane, as we see Shane struggling to drive down the interstate, and cussing out the other drivers. Everyone on the RV is excited to see a new person. Dan promises not to punch anyone unless they threaten Tori.
As the RV pulls up, everyone excitedly greets them. Tori says that she is excited to have Dan to flirt with. Dan grabs the phone, and reads the clue for the mission. The group is told to head to the dunes of Pismo Beach.
As the RV pulls off for a bit, the group is eager to hear more about Dan. Dan says that he is very open-minded, and they can have any views in the world, but if they get nasty with him, he'll give sh*t back to them. Dan tells us that he feels his training as a Marine will help, because he has been taught to adapt to situations, but he does feel the pressure of representing the Armed Forces. Dan also comments about how his relationships never last long. Tori tells us that she is excited that Dan is there, and she thinks he will be a great asset to the team. Susie begins to ponder how long it will be before Tori and Dan kiss. She is betting on seven days. They begin to sing "Tori and Dan, sitting in a tree…"
The next morning, Drew welcomes them to the challenge, which is their first Pit Stop. A Pit Stop means they will be competing against another team, which will be…The Pit Crew. Dan says that it will be weird competing against them, as he was on their side for so long. The Pit Crew is excited for the opportunity to show off their skills.
Drew tells the Road Rulers that if they win today's mission, $10,000 will go into their bank. If the Pit Crew wins, they will split the $10,000 between themselves today. The challenge involves each team breaking up into guy/girl pairs, and while attached at the hip, they will run to the top of the hill to retrieve tires. Whichever team gets their forty tires first will win the money.
As both teams decide how to partner up and devise their strategy, it seems that both teams want to go for the higher, tougher ones first. The pairs are: Adam and Kina, Shane and Tori, Dan and Susie, Ivory and David, Jerry and Veronica, and Monte and Angel.
Drew begins the challenge. Kina says that it is very difficult, while Veronica tries to keep Jerry at her pace. As they score their first tires, Adam says that it is excruciatingly painful. Angel is unused to walking up sand dunes, as she only walks on treadmills and elliptical trainers. As Shane and Tori run back, Shane is trying to motivate Tori, but he's really only berating her. Tori is really struggling. The Road Rulers are staying consistently ahead, but Tori is still struggling, as Shane tells us that he will drag a dead beauty queen body through the sand if he has to, so he can win this mission.
As Angel and Monte return, Jerry and Veronica are set to go, but Jerry is breathing very heavily. Veronica asks him if he is OK and if he needs water. Jerry wheezes that his asthma is killing him, and Veronica asks if he needs his inhaler. He says that he doesn't have it with him. Jerry falls to the ground. As Veronica hugs Jerry and yells for someone to get his inhaler from his backpack, Jerry begins to vomit. Looking over at the Road Rulers, Tori begins to vomit as well.
The medic comes over to see Jerry, but Jerry.....
