No Love In The House

By Natasha Darius
October 5, 2005
Danny, Rachel and Wes were scheduled to meet a band called Hellogoodbye (who were actually pretty good by the way) at a designated campground. But these guys have no concept of time because they were late. And once again had the nerve to be pissed off because the band was not there. Helloooooooooooo! You were late.

Danny, Rachel and Wes decide to leave and go back to the house. Upon their arrival, the lead singer of the band calls and asks what happened. Rachel explained that they were there, but couldn't find them. Turns out they were on the wrong end of the campsite. So they agreed to meet early the next morning to get the interview down. Rachel thought it would be a clever idea for Lacey to do the job since Lacey is the producer, but Lacey put her foot down and said NO. And that it would be a total waste of time. I thought this whole job thing was a team effort guys. Come on... where's the love.
After Rachel tells Danny what Lacey said, Danny complains that Lacey hasn't really been doing anything except demanding things from everybody else. Mel chimes in and says, "That's why I wanted to be the producer and be responsible for getting things done". Are you sure about that Mel? Cuz so far you've already proven that you can't separate work from pleasure.

The next morning, Danny, Mel and Rachel decide to suck it up and just get the interview and the footage they needed for the band. Before they leave Lacey managed to spew out a couple of orders for Danny to get footage of the scenery on their way to the campsite. Of course, Danny's attitude was more like, "Whatever b***h!" Anyway, they finally reach their destination and meet up with the band at the top of a hill. Now you know Mel and Danny always gotta make a little time for coochin and smoochin. The lead singer decides to play a little ditty on his banjo called "Oh This Is Love". I have to admit, the song was really cute and listener friendly. Of course, Danny and Mel are vibing when they should be concentrating on their job. Danny has this wonderful idea to jump off the cliff they were on and into the water below. Mel expressed that she's afraid of heights.

Well, because Mel loves her man sooooooooooo much (a man she just met 5 minutes ago) she decides to put her fears aside and try it. They probably should have put a slow motion affect on this part because they both jumped off the cliff holding hands. Oh whatever!!!

Danny concludes that it was important for Mel to jump off the cliff with him because it showed that she can trust him. I'm so over these two.

Lacey sure finds a lot of pleasure dogging her roommates even if it includes sharing that information with complete strangers. The band revealed to Danny, Mel and Rachel that Lacey has been talking a lot of smack about them. Hmmmmmmmm. Lacey I have absolutely no respect for you Miss Thang. Can't you keep house business between you and your roommates at the crib? What's really going on?

Nehemiah and Lacey went out for a meal. They had a little discussion about Lacey talking about people behind their back and of course Lacey denies it. Her excuse was she doesn't understand how people can label her as talking behind their back when she's home by herself all the time. "Who am I going to talk to...the walls, the pictures?" No nosey, but you sure know how to call your boyfriend on the phone when you're home by yourself and chat it up. Nehemiah knows that Lacey talks a lot of trash about people in the house. He flat out asked, "Do you talk about me". Lacey said no. Then Nehemiah asked if she talks about anybody else in the house. Let's just say she took a long time to answer and when she did, her excuse was, "I only make comments to other people about certain things and after I've said my piece that's it." Nehemiah told Lacey, "Look, when it comes down to it, if I have something to say about someone, I'm saying it to their face." Nehemiah is my favorite person in this miserable house. He's probably the only person who definitely keeps it real on all levels. There's no guess work with him at all.

Meanwhile back at the house, Wes, Johanna and Rachel discover a tape where Lacey is making a comment to Johanna about Rachel and one of her one night stand bar dudes, Mike. Her exact words were, "You mean to tell me that you would cheat on your girlfriend with Rachel? Are you kidding me?" Can you say caught out there with your panties around your ankles? There is no possible way Lacey could refute that. It's on freakin tape! The roommates encourage Rachel to confront Lacey on the matter. She might as well. You know how low Rachel's self esteem is already.

Rachel called Lacey into the editing room and plays the tape back and everything the roommates said she would say, she did exactly that. She basically told Rachel that she was taking it out of context and that she meant Mike shouldn't cheat on his girlfriend with any girl. Then she followed that explanation with a weak apology. You know it's funny...Rachel went complete loco when Nehemiah said something about her that obviously hurt her feelings. And what he said was to her face. Lacey talks behind her back and confronting her was like sitting down having a snack with your best friend while playing with baby dolls. What the hell?

Rachel decides to just leave it alone because she doesn't trust Lacey. I don't get it. Lacey got caught on cold tape and that's it. I don't understand it. I just don't. This RW crew is wearing me out. When's that damn finale?
