On The Real World...the first greeting for all the roommates was Hurricane Katrina. She left everyone stuck at their current destination for about two days. After she decided to leave, Tyler greets Svetlana with a little bit of Russian. Yes...Tyler is well-versed in the Russian. Very impressive! Tyler showcases a plethora of bracelets symbolizing how many guys he made out with... of course he had to explain all of this to Svetlana. Looking a little perplexed, Tyler eased her curiosity and told her that he's gay. Whew. "That's good. I knew there would be attractive guys in the house, but at least I don't have to worry about being hit on because Tyler's gay."
Janelle meets up with John who already is inquiring about whether or not she has a boyfriend going into this gig. Wow... he doesn't waste any time does he. She said that she and her boyfriend have been off and on but it's not anything serious for now. Janelle said that she would prefer more guys than girls in the house to prevent cattiness. Of course, John prefers the opposite.
Jose picks up Paula from Miami Airport in a Ford Explorer. He's already inquiring about her boyfriend status as well. These guys sure have a one track mind. Paula shoots back the same question. Jose said he was with his girl for about a few years but broke it off. He said that his girlfriend catered to him way too much and he needed someone who would keep him on his toes. You need a sista in your life Jose. Check out Liberty City. You'll definitely find one of those sista who will keep you in check all day every day.
Zach meets up with Janelle and John. Where do you think they go before actually arriving at the house...one of the local outdoor bars in Duval Street. Already?
Tyler and Svetlana fly into their destination. The flight wasn't too enjoyable since Svetlana was afraid of small planes and what made things worse was Tyler constantly painting visual scenarios of the plane crashing.
All the roommates finally arrive at the house in grand style of course to The Real World house. This house didn't blow me away that much. It kind of reminds of the Real World San Diego house. Don't get me wrong the house is still phat!
Janelle is already labeled as "girl with a major attitude" by Svetlana and Tyler. And just before Paula gets to the house, Svetlana was just saying that she can't stand skinny blondes because they get way too much attention. Do I sense a little haterism? Almost as soon as Svetlana finished her comment, in walks Paula. "Hear we go again. Skinny blonde b****h." Janelle rushes over to Jose giving him a warm welcomed hug. "I'm so excited to see another colored person." I can't believe she even said that out loud.
Selecting rooms wasn't hard at all. John and Zach are in a room together. Tyler and Jose are in a room together. And there's another room with three beds. Well, that's obviously the ladies sleeping quarters. There, that was easy.
Doesn't look like John.....
