Rock Star Supernova: In The End - It's About The Music

The finale of Rock Star: Supernova is over. The final four were Dilana, Lukas, Magni, and Toby. Who did Supernova feel was the best fit for them?
There is a lot to cover in an hour show so little time is wasted. First the bottom two will be announced and then sing for Supernova. At risk were three rockers and they were Magni, Toby, and Lukas. Dilana is safe for now.
This means that at some point in time during the voting window, they were in the bottom two. They could finish up being the top vote getter at the end, but still in the bottom two at some point.
Magni is the first in the real bottom two. He chooses to sing Jimi Hendrix's "Fire" again. I normally don't like repeats, but he did a really great job on this before and it was great again. He really seemed to be enjoying hanging out with the House Band. At this point, I was thinking I would prefer to see Magni perform with the House Band instead of Supernova.
Toby is the second one in the real bottom two. This means that Lukas is also safe. Toby performs Billy Idol's "White Wedding" again and it was very much a Toby performance. Gilby does the talking for Supernova and says they have a job to do. Gilby tells Magni that he plays so well with the House Band that he blends in with them instead of being more of a lead singer. Therefore Magni is sent home. He tells Magni that it has been a great ride and that is a talented musician. Magni thanks everyone and says that he does not want to front the House Band, but be in it instead.
The final three are presented. They present their case for why he or she should be the lead singer of Supernova with a prepared clips package that includes highlights of their performances and their comments. Lukas is up first. Dave asks him if he has anything to add and tells Lukas that he has so much diversity. Lukas says that Supernova could have been mean or egotistical, but they have not been. He feels it would be an honor to be their lead singer. In the reality clips, he said that he did not come there to be second or third, but to win.
Dilana is presented second. In the clips she says that she needs them and they need her. Dave tells her that she is such a fighter and really strong. She says the lead singer needs to be someone who is 1000% dedicated and she wants to rock the world with Supernova. She adds that while Lukas and Toby are talented, she is the one.
Toby is presented last. He says that it has been the best time of his life and that he has kept his eye on the prize. He feels that he has been climbing and gone through a fantastic change. He adds that he is ready, can provide energy to the show. Also, that he is the tallest. This prompts Dilana to give him a mock hit since she is short.
Tommy says that these three are amazing and that it is time for them to sing one more time. Lukas sings "Bittersweet Symphony" by the Verve. Second, Dilana sings The Cranberries's "Zombie", and Toby sings "Somebody Told Me" by The Killers. I thought they all sounded good, but could also sense their nerves and think they were all thinking about the results more than their performances which is only natural. I thought the original performances for everyone were better.
There is a commercial break in the middle of the show for the upcoming season of Survivor. Now, normally I would not comment on a commercial, but this one has Lukas singing "Head Spin" in it. Was the results just given away? At this point, I am thinking that Lukas is going to win and that the commercial spilled the beans.
Jason does the talking for Supernova after the break. He tells Toby that Supernova has never doubted his vocal abilities and that his voice can cut through anything. Each performance was better than the next, another notch. Jason tells Toby that he is the next to go home. Just like that. Wow, I did not even realize that a cut was going to be made here. Plus, Toby was my pick for them. Supernova should know what is best for them. I was only guessing on who fit them the best. Toby tells them that they made the safest choice. Says that he is still getting better, while Dilana and Lukas have been amazing since the very beginning. They will be awesome with Supernova, either one of them. He thanks everyone and says that it has been the best time ever.
This means that Dilana and Lukas are the top two finalists. Brooke tells them that they were the top two vote-getters. Well, since there were only four to begin with and they were not in the bottom two, that seems obvious enough to me already. Dave jokes that they look like a Goth wedding the way that they are each dressed. Dave says the edgy ones are left. Tommy says that it has been a tough one. All summer long they have been waiting for this moment. Everyone is ready to hear the final results, but Supernova asks for a commercial break to give them more time.
Tommy tells Lukas that.....
