Last week on Survivor Panama: Exile Island a medical emergency took Bruce out of the game. While I'm sure everyone was sad to see him go you know some of them were breathing a sigh of relief. With Terry almost unstoppable at the challenge everyone must have realized they would have had to vote him off. At least this way they got him out of the game and he isn't mad at anyone. That could ultimately help someone out when that final vote occurs.
This week we begin our night with Terry. He is out doing a little fishing and breathing a little easier. We all know Terry has to win immunity every time or he is gone. I think he was just relieved to have a little break. Of course Terry is never one to give up so he continues to think that he may be able to sway someone over to his side and make his life a little easier. On the other side of camp, Shane has gone crazy and I mean that literally. Shane was out walking and found a piece of wood that reminded him of his Blackberry. Since Shane has lost touch with reality he picked the wood up and is now walking around camp using it to communicate with people. Seriously the man thinks he is talking to people who are not on the island. If this is some sort of ploy to make people think he is not a threat it could work. Everyone on the island thinks he's nuts.
At the reward challenge Jeff greets everyone and begins to tell them what they will do today. In this challenge they will be split into two teams of three. Each team will be attached to a long rope. Together they must navigate thru an obstacle course while attached to the rope. At the end of the course they must all climb onto a platform unhook from the rope and jump into the water and retrieve a bag from the ocean bottom. Once each person has retrieved a bag they must hook the rope back on and go back thru the obstacle course. The first team to make their way back thru wins a barbecue feast. Jeff divides the group into two teams. The first team consists of Aras, Shane, and Cirie and the other team consists of Terry, Danielle, and Courtney.
The two teams begin and right from the start Terry and the girls dominate the race. There is really no hope for Aras, Shane, and Cirie. At no point was the race even close. It didn't help matters that they got tangled in their rope and even had Jeff yelling at them to get it together. Terry and the girls have no trouble winning the challenge. For winning they get to go enjoy a nice feast but before they can go they have to send someone to Exile Island. Terry has not trouble repaying Aras for sending him to Exile Island last week. Aras heads off to Exile Island and Shane and Cirie head back to camp. The winners think they are leaving for their feast but Jeff has a little surprise for them.
Before they can leave the three winners must compete in another challenge. This time the winner will win a brand new 2007 GMC Yukon. To win each person will have to shoot down three tiles with a slingshot. The first to do so wins the car. All three give it a good try and for a minute it looked like one of the girls might actually beat Terry but he is just to hard to beat. Terry wins the Yukon. Jeff informs the group that they will be flown to an island where the Yukon will be waiting with their feast inside. Jeff tells them to enjoy and sends them on their way.
Over at Exile Island Aras is not happy. He is pretty sure Terry has the idol so there is really no point in wasting time and energy looking for it. HE doesn't seem too happy to be there. While Aras sulks about his situation, the reward winners arrive on the island. Terry is excited about his new vehicle. He knows his wife will be excited because she told him to make sure to win a car. The group piles inside and heads off to eat. On the beach Terry and Courtney decide to talk strategy while Danielle plays with a soccer ball. Terry tells Courtney he would like to go final three with Courtney and Danielle. Courtney seems open to the opportunity and would love to see Aras gone. She thinks she could help sway both Danielle and Cirie. As the three begin to eat they propose the idea to Danielle. She seems pretty receptive to the idea so Terry is confident he has finally figured out a way to defeat Casaya.
Back at camp Cirie and Shane take the time alone to talk strategy. Shane wants to get rid of Danielle. He doesn't care for her and thinks its time for her to go. Cirie is not so sure. She thinks Courtney needs to go but Shane disagrees. Cirie is no idiot; she knows that in a perfect game it would be great to sit next to Courtney in the end. She feels that makes Courtney the most dangerous person out there. She knows she has to get rid of Courtney. Cirie decides to quit talking strategy and go fishing. She thinks it can't be as hard as they are making it out to be. She takes the pole and some snails and heads down to the water. I swear it was so funny watching Cirie fish. When she apologized to the snail before she slammed it with a rock, I was laughing out loud. I know I'm easily amused so sue me.
