Too Many People - Not Enough Thrills

Okay it is official; I want TAR back in its original format. This family format is not working for me. Recapping this format is boring and difficult. Plus it is the fourth week and I can only tell you the names of about six of the contestants. How sad is that? It gets so confusing when all of the Linz brothers are running around. I couldn't even begin to tell you who is who. The same goes for the Bransen and Godlewski sisters. If Sharon weren't such a drama queen on her team, I wouldn't know her name either. I can't wait for the day when I only have two people to write about. It makes life easier and makes watching it that much more enjoyable. It just makes the show better when you can identify with the teams on a first name basis. With that said, from now on I will be referring to each family as Team whatever. It makes reading easier and will really make writing much easier.
So let's get the new format going right now, Team Bransen who were the first to arrive at 1:15 am will be the first to depart at 1:15 pm. Teams must now drive 100 miles to Aniston Alabama and find the world's largest office chair. Once there one team member will have to climb up to the top of the chair to retrieve their next clue. Team Bransen heads out.
The other teams depart the Pit stop at the following times:
Team Linz: 1:18 pm
Team Schroeder: 1:33 pm
Team Godlewski: 1:44 pm
Team Weaver: 3:34 pm
Team Paolo: 3:50 pm
Team Gaghan: 3:53 pm
As Team Paolo heads out of the Pit Stop the fighting begins again. While they waste time fighting, Team Gaghan catches up to them even though they had good three-minutes on them. You would think at some point they would realize that all this fighting is eventually going to cost them the game. On the road all the teams are making their way to Aniston, you know like Jennifer Aniston. Team Bransen is the first to arrive and one of the daughters climbs up to the top and retrieves the next clue. Teams must now drive 18 miles to Talladega, Alabama and find the Talladega Super Speedway. They must go inside to get the next clue.
Okay I am going to take a moment to defend the Weavers. If I were the producers of this show and found out that a family was coming on and their husband and dad was killed at a racetrack, I would have changed locations. I thought it was really cruel to make that family go to the speedway much less having to get on the actual track. I would like to commend the Weavers for sucking it up and doing the task. It must have taken a lot for them to do it and I commend them for doing it.
As Team Bransen heads for the speedway, Team Linz arrives at the chair and retrieves the next clue. Team Schroeder closely follows them. On the road, Team Gaghan has decided to take a shortcut to try to beat the other teams. Apparently it works because not only do they beat Team Paolo, they also arrive before Team Weaver. When Team Weaver does arrive, they are mortified to find out they are going to a racetrack. They agree they are going to run in and run out and that way it won't be so bad.
Soon all the teams are on the way to the speedway. Team Bransen meanwhile has arrived at the speedway and heads in to get the next clue. Teams must now make their way into the speedway and ride one lap around the speedway. Of course everyone thinks they will be riding in a car but those crazy producers have a surprise for them. Instead of riding in a car, they will pedal a party bike around the 2.6-mile track. I have never seen a party bike before but gosh they are cute. I wonder where you buy one of those and what they use them for?
As Team Bransen makes their way around the track, Team Linz arrives and gets started. These guys crack me up. I bet living with them is never boring. As Team Bransen finishes up their ride around the track, Team Schroeder arrives and begins their trek. Team Bransen crosses the finish line and receives the next clue. Teams must now drive 260 miles to Hattiesburg, Mississippi and find the Southern Colonel. What teams don't know is that the Southern Colonel is a huge mobile home dealership.
As Team Bransen leaves the speedway, Team Sisters arrive. They are always so excited. I bet their husbands have a lot of energy. They would have to in order to keep up with these ladies. Somehow Team Weaver ends up at the speedway next and their plan to run in and out is crushed when they get the clue and discover they actually have to go out on the track. They suck it up and head out.
On the track, Team Linz crosses the finish line and race to catch up to Team Bransen. Team Schroeder meanwhile has decided to stop and adjust the seats on the bike. This does not go over well and they begin to argue. They seem to be so focused on beating Team Weaver it has taken them over and is causing them to make stupid mistakes. They finally finish and head out. Team sisters are right behind them, which surprised me; I am just waiting for this team to lose it. As they leave for Mississippi, Team Gaghan and Team Paolo arrive at the speedway. Once again, Team Gaghan runs into a problem when Carrissa can't reach the pedal. I swear those parents must be worn out by the end of the day.
