NO more Lame Challenges

Anybody who has read my recaps over the years knows what a huge fan of TAR I am. It is for that reason alone that I hate what I am about to write. If the producers of TAR don't get with the program they are going to lose even more viewers. I'm sorry but watching grown adults sort laundry is not my idea of fun. On top of that they stole one of the most over used Survivor ideas ever. Did we really need a giant statue puzzle? Come on guys, what is happening to my show.
Now to top it off I hear that Colin from Season five is going around telling people that he has been approached about an All-Star edition. Did Jerry and Bertram not learn anything from Survivor? All-Star editions don't work. Do I really want to sit thru another season of Colin and Christie? At least Jonathan and Victoria won't be back since she has announced that she's pregnant. Just what the world needs, someone else Jonathan can yell at and push around.
Since I'm on the subject of things I've heard, I would also like to take a moment to ask the producers not to go back to stunt casting. Rumor has it Kaysar from last seasons Big Brother might show up on the next edition. Please no more stunt casting, it just doesn't work. Okay now that all of that's out of my system, let's move onto the recap.
Last week I couldn't wait to see what the time difference between the racers was. It is really sad that that was the highlight of my evening. Eric and Jeremy who were the first to arrive at 2:15 pm, they are the first to depart at 2:15 pm. Teams must now fly 850 miles to the city of Palermo Italy. When they arrive teams must take a taxi to the Teatro Massimo to find the next clue. Eric and Jeremy leave for the airport. At 3:04 am BJ and Tyler get their clue. Instead of leaving they decide to wait on Lake and Michelle. At 3:09 am Lake and Michelle get their clue and both teams head to the airport.
At the airport Eric and Jeremy have arrived and of course most windows are closed. They find one window that is open and of course it has two women behind the counter. The men use their charm and find out that the earliest flight departs at 6:35 am. They will have to switch flights in Rome and then arrive in Palermo at 10:15 am. With their newfound information and some time to kill they decide to play with the wheelchairs. The two are still playing when BJ and Tyler and Lake and Michelle arrive. Being two fun loving guys BJ and Tyler join in the wheelchair fun. Michelle is not amused with them so she and Lake head off to find tickets. They find a room with computers and Internet access and start to look for flights.
After they have their fun, BJ and Tyler catch up with Lake and Michelle. They jump online and have no trouble booking seats on the 6:35 flight. Michelle is not doing as well. Apparently everything is written in German and since she doesn't speak German she can't figure out what to do. Lake is furious when the hippies get tickets and they don't. He and Michelle decide to go to the ticket counter instead. Back at the Pit Stop, Fran and Berry depart at 5:03 am. At 5:28 am Lori and Dave leave with MoJo right behind them at 5:52. Did anyone else get a kick out of listening to Monica pronounce Palermo. She then proceeds to talk about how people think she is a dumb blond but she's not. She only pretends to be dumb so she can use it to her advantage. I think Monica and Kellie Pickler should meet.
Back at the airport Eric and Jeremy and Lake and Michelle get in line to purchase tickets. As soon as the window opens they are upset to learn that the 6:35 flight is full. Lake and Michelle get upset and head off to find a different flight. Eric and Jeremy decide to take a chance and wait for standby tickets. While they wait Lake and Michelle find a different flight that leaves at 9:30. They also have to switch planes in Rome and arrive in Palermo at 2:00 pm. Lake is upset that the others will now catch up to them.
Speaking of teams catching up to them, Fran and Berry arrive at the airport and instead of just catching up they actually pass them. Fran and Berry find the same flight that departs at 9:30 but instead of arriving at 2:00 they will arrive at 1:25 pm. While they are purchasing their tickets, Lake and Michelle come up to talk. Fran and Berry are extremely rude and ask them to leave them alone. Now I am no fan of Lake and Michelle but I thought Fran and Berry were rude. When they were in the bike shop, Lake did take the time to at least tell them what to do. This is a race and you don't want anyone to beat you but Fran and Berry were really rude the whole night.
