The show starts out with Colleen Whopper (who looks like she ate a lot of whoppers) crying because she wants to contribute more to her family. They then go to the Olympic ski slopes to see what Chris has accomplished. Michael is obviously living his dreams through Chris and putting a lot of pressure on him. He wants Chris to be on the Olympic team.
Over at the Whopper house they decide to take Ingrid to Seattle to see a rock concert but decide to stop and get family tattoos instead. Heather isn't old enough to get a tattoo so she gets a bar through her ear. Terry just decided to get "some artwork" he doesn't care what it is. Rick decides that he would rather get a tattoo than pay the electric bill. What a great role model. Ingrid decides that she wants to get a tattoo as well. However she said that she would only get a tattoo if they promise to do a favor for her that will affect them for the rest of their lives as this tattoo will affect Ingrid for the rest of her life. They do not believe that she will really go through with it. She does and they are all impressed. At the concert Ingrid rocks out and dances. The whole family is impressed and she even goes on stage. She had fun.
At the Dancy house Michael and Colleen took Chris to school. Michael gives Chris a list of things that he needs him to do, for instance find a ride to practice. I personally think it is annoying he sounds like he is nagging. Colleen thinks that it is annoying as well and tells Michael that he should put a little more faith in Chris and she is sure that he will take responsibility for what needs to be done. Chris really appreciates this but by the look on Michael's face, he does not.
At the Whopper house Ingrid shows everyone her tattoo and tells them that it is time for her request. She tells them that she is going to make a few changes around there. The first is to clean the yard and house. She also tells Rick that he can't smoke while she is there. He is mad. She leaves to go somewhere and Rick suggests that they quit and just lay on the couch. The kids have more sense and know that if they do that she will just come up with more chores, so they keep working.
Back at the Dancy house Colleen shows Chris pictures of her family. He really appreciates it and likes Colleen. Colleen also gets on the trampoline with the kids and plays soccer and rides bikes. It seems like she is really enjoying their company and they are enjoying hers.
Over at the Whopper house Ingrid is really making them clean and they do not like it. She is going through their rooms. She is trying to get Terry to throw some things away and he doesn't appreciate it. Apparently he is 24 living at home going to school and working 2 jobs and like his room the way it is. Ingrid said that her kids won't be living at home at that age and he dose not like that. She tells him that he should move out soon. Terry said that he is ready for his mom to move back in.
Heather and Ingrid decide to go for a walk. Ingrid asks heather what she wants to do with her life and Heather says that she wants to work with kids. Ingrid suggests that she work for her au pair company in Europe. Heather loves this idea and Ingrid tells her not to give up on her dreams. Ingrid sees a lot of potential in Heather.
The time has come for them to decide how they will spend the money for the families. Colleen is nervous that she has such a great responsibility, but Ingrid is relieved because she feels they will spend their money foolishly and I agree.
Departure day… It looks like the Dancy kids are really going to miss Colleen and Colleen is going to miss them. They said that they learned a lot from her. Ingrid on the other hand is happy to leave. Heather is upset that she is leaving, everyone else is happy. They did get her a present, which I thought was really nice. They gave her a shot glass a friendship ball and a flower pot. She really didn't seem to appreciate it and told them she didn't have room for the flowerpot and for them to keep it. This hurt them. I would be too, I mean all she had to do was carry it with her and then throw it away at the airport where they couldn't see it.
