Last night on Treasure Hunters, the teams finally got to visit another country! Yeah! They were shipped off to France where they had to go to the Catacombs. After following two locals, who actually lead them in the wrong direction, Fogal-Force and the Geniuses are caught in last.
They then took a ferry to Dover Castle in England and finally to St. Bartholomew's church, where by burning the clue they discovered a map that helped them find another item. In the end, the Fogals were eliminated, after a close race against their allies.
Team Ex-CIA
Current Ranking: 1 - Previous Ranking: 2
Well, they maintained a tied lead for the entire episode. These guys now have the power and if they can maintain it, I see them taking it all.
Team Southie Boys
Current Ranking: 2 - Previous Ranking: 3
The Southies have finally done it! They've moved ahead of Air Force. They, also, were in the tie for first, and they are definitely a team for the Final Four, unless something horrible happens next week.
Team Miss Usa
Current Ranking: 3 - Previous Ranking: 5
It seems that every week "the hardest thing they've done so far" comes up from them. Honestly, make up your minds, girls! Though, as much as I could criticize them for that, they are now my favourite team left in the race. If they continue to hold on to the backs of the two alpha-male teams they could even make Final 3. Even then, I think they could hold their own against them.
Team Air Force
Current Ranking: 4 - Previous Ranking: 1
These guys may be the bottom of the scoreboard by next week. I thought they were indestructible, but their mortality was shown this week when they were nearly eliminated. Personally, I would have preferred to see them go over the Fogals, primarily because Brooke seems to state the obvious a bit too much in her confessionals. They're still a very strong team and they will most likely make the final 4.
Team Geniuses
Current Ranking: 5 - Previous Ranking: 6
These guys are incredibly immature and hypocritical. I understand that this was an "every team for themselves" scenario, but actually moving around the church with a candle to get the clue was kind of overdoing it, in process lying to the Fogal-Force about what they were doing.
Team Fogal
Eliminated: Episode 6
I find it funny that Papa Fogal is always right but Margie and Kayte never, ever listen. They could have beaten Air Force at the statue by just listening to him. They were my favourites and I'm happy they made it this far, but their elimination was inevitable.
Team Brown
Eliminated: Episode 5
They took a six hour penalty to continue in the hunt which didn't really hurt them, they were only a short while behind the Geniuses. However they did not have it in them to catch up, in turn eliminating them from the hunt.
Team Wild Hanlons
Eliminated: Episode 3
Finally. Finally. Finally. I think that sums up my emotions.......................................
Team Grad Students
Eliminated Due To Injury
Jessica, unfortunately, was facing surgery and the girls had to give up in the race, allowing the Brown Family to return. We saw this coming and I was prepared for it, but I wish it hadn't happens. Or, even better, I wish it happened to somebody else.
Team Young Pro
Eliminated: Episode 1
I think the Young Professionals were unfairly eliminated. They had to put up with a bunch of hardheaded individuals who made them unable to go to Mt. Rushmore when they knew it was the right answer. Hopefully, there will be no more pairing up on this show, because it was a bad idea.
