Things started off with quite a bit of tension on Wednesday's episode of Unan1mous. After being told the consequences of quitting, Kelly disregarded pleas from the other players and stood firm on her decision to quit the game, causing the already decreasing prize money to be cut in half. The team was devastated as they watched their 1.5 million dollars decrease to less than $750,000.
Now that Kelly was gone, there was an extra spot in the running for the cash, so Richard was allowed back into the game. Surprisingly, Richard was disappointed. He felt like the others blamed him for sabotaging the previous voting round. Meanwhile, Vanessa was moved from her spot as team captain and Adam was chosen to take her place. The team had another twenty four hours before the next deliberation.
A strong feeling of animosity was in the air. Since the deliberation in which someone changed their vote, there was little trust between the teammates. However, a decision would have to be made together if anyone was going to leave the bunker a winner. As the new team captain, Adam set up a discussion where everyone would get to explain why they deserved the prize money most. Hoping that this would help the team with their decision before the next voting session, each person agreed to give equal time for their teammates to speak. They promised to be respectful and listen to each one's reasons carefully. The group became annoyed with Richard as he spoke excessively; repeating reasons for his need for the money. Even sweet Richard became aggravated with Richard, calling him crazy during one of his confessionals.
The pressure was beginning to be too much for Jamie, a 24 year old choreographer. She became ill, complaining about vomiting and migraines. Although the other players showed concern, some could not shake the feeling that this too might be all an act. Jamie reassured the team she would not quit just yet. Relieved yet a bit nervous, the team seemed to wonder when and if Jamie would end up quitting, causing their already plummeting cash to be cut in half… again. It was finally time for the next deliberation. Jamie dragged herself out of bed to join the others. At the last round of voting, all but one person had voted for Steve. However this time around things were quite different as Steve only received two votes. All the players except for Richard and Jamie received votes as well.
Because the team had failed to come to a unanimous decision again, an "outcast" had to be chosen. Would it be by revealing more dark secrets? Fortunately for the players it would be different this time. Each person was given a moment to go into the isolation booth and state who they wanted out-cast from the game.
Richard tried to convince the others to vote for him. But again, some players were skeptical and thought it was a strategy to ruin the game. Would the majority of the team listen to Richard and outcast him again? We will find out next week as more shocking twists are promised to be thrown into the game on the next episode of Unan1mous.
