American Idol: Jennifer Hudson Pre-Taped An Appearance Last Night

Jennifer Hudson is set to return to American Idol. Five months after the murders of her mother, brother and nephew, Hudson is moving forward with her career and wedding to fiancé David Otunga.
After Wednesday’s live Motown performances on Idol, Hudson pre-taped a performance, which will be aired on a future episode of the show. Dressed in a black dress, blazer and leggings, Hudson took the Idol stage and sang her new single ‘If This Isn’t Love.’ She then spoke to host Ryan Seacrest, telling him “it feels great” to be back on the Idol stage.
When asked about her wedding plans, Hudson revealed a date has been set, but “it’s a secret.”
Meanwhile, Hudson, who finished in 7th place on season 3 of American Idol, is promoting her self-titled debut album.
