American Idol: Paula Regrets Leaving Idol And Friends Are Worried

Paula Abdul is reportedly second-guessing her decision to leave American Idol.
Sources close to Abdul fear she is letting regret over American Idol affect her health.
“Right now, Paula is kicking herself for leaving Idol,” claims an insider. “And those close to her are scared to death that she’s fallen back into her old ways — binge eating, followed by purging.
Paula’s weight is below 100 and dropping. We’re worried about her and hoping she turns it around soon.”
Meanwhile Simon Cowell has reportedly asked Paula Abdul to appear as a judge on the upcoming American version of his UK show, The X Factor.
Earlier this week Cowell announced he was quitting American Idol after the ninth season in order to focus on launching The X Factor in 2011. Abdul quit Idol last September.
When asked if he wants Abdul on The X Factor, Cowell told reporters, “I’ve gone on record, I adore Paula. Whatever happens, I will be working with her in some capacity because I miss her.”
Abdul has not commented.
