American Idol: Siobhan Takes The Lead - Ranking The Top 11

This week on American Idol, the top 12 took on the Rolling Stones.
I was really unimpressed with the choice of theme and I have a feeling I wasn't alone.
Most people who watch the show have never even heard most of the songs that were covered on Tuesday night. Most of the contestants probably haven't either.
The judges are always stressing the importance of being current, so here's a thought, pick a current artist!
Anyways, I don't think a whole lot changed this week.
The contestants can still clearly be divided into three groups; those that could win, those that are middle of the pack, and those that are bottom of the barrel.
While their rankings may have shifted around slightly in their group, I don't think anyone jumped to a totally different grouping.
Sadly I wasn't able to see this week's entire result show. We've been having problems with our DVR for months now and American Idol only partially recorded.
I missed Ke$ha's performance, which let's admit, is no real loss.
But I also missed the announcement of who was going home as well as Lacey's final performance. On a side note, if anyone happens to have the results show on DVD, please let me know!
I did however get to see David Cook and Orianthi perform. David did just fine, he's never really been a favorite of mine though.
This was the first time I've seen Orianthi and I was impressed with her guitar skills. The singing was ok; at least she actually sang live. And she totally looks like Avril Lavgine's older sister.
This week's bottom three was Tim, Paige and Lacey. It's hard to really argue to keep any of these three.
They were all weak on Tuesday night and have all had problems in the past.
I was however a little shocked that Andrew Garcia was not in the bottom three. He was my pick to go home and in my opinion, gave the worst performance of the night. I really don't know who votes for him and why they do.
