This week's episode of America's Next Top Model saw the girls adapting to fashion, but not to each other.
Claire's frustrations with Dominique bubbled over into a house consuming feud.
Tyra taught the girls how to pose on a catwalk and how to "pose with pain." A pose off lesson was actually a secret challenge and Anya won, earning herself a private photo shoot with Nigel Barker.
At the photo shoot, the girls posed as though they were stars in different genres of music.
At judging panel, though Claire had her worst shoot yet, Aimee was sent home because she was young, safe, and pretty.
Eight girls remain. Who will be sent home next?
Whitney
Current Ranking: 1- Previous Ranking: 6
From one extreme to the other, Whitney goes from almost being eliminated to being called first in this week's judging panel. She rocked during the posing lessons, she was amazing in her photo shoot, and the judges flipped for her photo. Whitney is sitting on top this week.
Katarzyna
Current Ranking: 2 - Previous Ranking: 8
Katarzyna is quietly working her way back into the upper echelons in this competition. She needed something that broke her out of that safe and pretty mode and this week's photo shoot was it. The judges loved her attitude and intensity and felt the short hairdo she had in her picture was just what she needed. I agree and feel that short haircut will give her the edge she needs. She's improving in the competition and when she gets that haircut, watch out for Kat!
Claire
Current Ranking:3 - Previous Ranking: 1
Claire had her worst photo shoot yet and was almost sent home. Her problem right now is how to adapt to other styles and not always be this super edgy, super high fashion girl. A well rounded model is a working model. I've only moved her down slightly because of her strong presence, track record, potential, and continued winning streak in the CoverGirl of the Week votes.
Dominique
Current Ranking: 4 - Previous Ranking: 4
I do not like this girl, but I must give credit where credit is due. Dominique is improving and starting to do much better in the competition. The judges also think she is getting better, but she's not all the way there yet.
Lauren
Current Ranking: 5- Previous Ranking: 2
Lauren continues to take great pictures, but I notice that she always has this "sleepy eye" look in her photos. Lauren continues to doubt herself and the judges continue to talk to her about personal presence and confidence. This is exactly what plagued Heather last season and Lauren is treading the same path.
Anya
Current Ranking: 6 - Previous Ranking: 5
Anya looks nice, but I don't think she's really connecting with what she does. If you notice, she just poses and makes the same faces, hoping it'll work or thinking it does. Somehow, she keeps coming up with nice photos, but some of the judges feel she is doubting herself and lucking into her shots.
