This week's episode of America's Next Top Model taking off.
Lauren accidentally cut off the tip of her thumb while preparing food and when there was talk of traveling abroad, Fatima got worried because she didn't have the proper documents to travel.
Paulina taught the girls how to handle themselves at parties and on the red carpet. For the challenge, the girls worked the room at a party for designer Jay Godfrey and Anya won.
A last ditch effort to get her affairs in order netted Fatima an important appointment at the consulate, but she soon learned this meant leaving the photo shoot, which involved the girls posing as jetsetters boarding a plane. Though Fatima made it to her appointment on time and got her travel documents, she did not make it back for the photo shoot.
At the impromptu judging panel held in a hangar on the tarmac where the photo shoot was located, the girls learned that one of them will be eliminated while the other six would go to Rome, Italy.
Though the judges were disappointed in Fatima for not taking better care of her responsibilities and missing the photo shoot, they eliminated Stacy-Ann when they felt her body of work was weaker than Fatima's.
Six girls remain and we are getting closer to crowning our winner. Who will be first one eliminated in Italy? Find out next time.
Anya

Anya is cleaning up in this competition. She handled the challenge well, making it a point to talk to everyone at the party, and she won. Her prize involved the chance to shoot an ad for 7-Up and she even got paid for it like a real model would! At the photo shoot, Mr. Jay felt she stood out no matter what position she was in and the judges continue to fawn over her. Anya is one of only two girls, besides Katarzyna, who has yet to appear in the bottom two and Anya has been called first by Tyra three times now. The girls need to watch out for Anya.
Lauren

Lauren looked great in this episode and while she wanted to show that punk rock girls can be beautiful too, she didn't smash that ideal over everyone's head like Whitney with her plus-sized girls crusade. She was confident and inviting and looked great in her photo shoot, but the judges are still questioning the way she presents herself in panel. If she can get it together and if she can show the judges that she can film a good commercial, Lauren could be the one to beat.
Katarzyna
Current Ranking: 3 - Previous Ranking: 4
The judges loved Kat's photo, but they still question who she is and wonder about her personality.
Whitney
Current Ranking: 4- Previous Ranking: 1
Whitney takes a hit this week. She managed to make it past seventh place, which seems to be the kiss of death for plus-sized girls on this show, but not without the judges calling her potential into question again. They all felt she was being too much of a pageant queen in the way she spoke and carried herself. I think that rather than going around telling everyone at every opportunity how hard is to be plus-sized and how she's fighting to break through in the industry, she should just work on being a bubbly, beautiful woman. Next week has the girls filming a commercial and I think Whitney will do well, but if she does this pageantry routine again, she could be going home next.
Dominique
Current Ranking: 5 - Previous Ranking: 6
The judges feel Dominique is improving, but are split on how they feel about her. Besides the fact that she messed up the designers name at the challenge, Miss J and Tyra seem to like her while Paulina doesn't. Dominique needs to find a way to unite all the judges in liking her rather than dividing them.
Fatima
Current Ranking: 6 - Previous Ranking: 3
Fatima dodged a huge bullet and managed to stay in the competition despite not having her affairs in order and missing out on the photo shoot. The judges seem to have faith in Fatima, but I have ranked her last as a cautionary lesson: always make sure stuff like travel documents or citizenship is taken care of BEFORE you go on a show that you know will be taking you outside of the country.
