America's Next Top Model 9: Ranking The Top Six

This week's episode of America's Next Top Model saw the cracks forming in some girls' veneers.
The challenge saw the girls acting as muses for student designers and while Lisa and Heather fumbled, Saleisha coasted to her third challenge win. All throughout the episode, Lisa second guessed herself and Heather grew frustrated with her subpar performance.
The photo shoot saw the girls posing in the middle of the desert with a burning car as part of a "Model Wasteland." Heather had her weakest shoot yet and Lisa seemed to be fading away, but after her many troubles, Ambreal was eliminated.
Six girls are left and they're all headed to China.
Who fill flourish and who will falter in a foreign land?
Heather

Heather is a 21 year old college student from Valparaiso, IN.
I had debated about moving Heather down. Jenah has been blazing a stellar path equal to her's since the second episode and while she excelled this week, Heather faltered. However, I ultimately decided not to move her yet as you can see. I thought about Jenah's track record and Heather's and Heather's is still better. This is Heather's first down week and last week was Jenah's second, counting the first week when the judges questioned her personality. The judges gush over Jenah, but they're also incredibly intrigued by Heather. Plus, Heather is obviously the audience favorite, winning CoverGirl of the Week honors for the sixth time. Only one other girl in the history of the show, Naima from Cycle Four whom was CoverGirl of the Week ten times, has had such a record.
So for another week, Heather retains her lofty perch with Jenah coming close. However, if she continues to falter next week, I will give serious consideration again to moving her down, provided Jenah does well.
Jenah

Jenah is an 18 year old student from Farmington, CT.
Jenah continues to be a favorite of the judges. After a bump in the road last week, Jenah returned to form with a knockout photo that had the judges raving. They feel she is the top girl in the competition. She stays in second on my rankings for another week, but she is nipping at Heather's heels.
Saleisha
Current Ranking: 3 - Previous Ranking: 3
Saleisha is a 21 year old receptionist from Los Angeles.
Last week, I said I felt that Saleisha is on the fast track to third place like past contestants such as Keenyah, Bre, and Eugena. This week further confirms my suspicions. Her performance is spotty when it comes to photos, turning in a boring picture this week, but her presence captivates the judges. Even guest judge Neal said he was falling in love with her. Sound familiar? All those third place girls made it as far as they did based much more on presence than photos and Saleisha is right on that track at the moment. Therefore, she stays in third on my scoreboard.
Bianca
Current Ranking: 4 - Previous Ranking: 4
Bianca is an 18 year old college student from Queens.
Bianca's attitude worked her for this week, at least where the competition was concerned. Guest judge Neal Hamil liked her at the challenge and the judges loved her fiery photo. They feel she is rising in the ranks and think she is amazing. This bodes well for Miss Bianca.
Chantal
Current Ranking: 5 - Previous Ranking: 6
Chantal is a 19 year old student from Austin, TX.
Chantal gained back some of the ground she lost in previous weeks. She turned in a fierce photo that showed a different side of her and the judges felt it was her best yet. More of this, and my Austin girl will be back in the running. Lisa

Lisa is a 20 year old dancer from Jersey City, NJ. Hmmm.
Lisa seriously needs to grow a backbone. She spent the whole episode second guessing herself and it hurt her when she flubbed the challenge and did poorly at the photo shoot. She appeared in the bottom two because despite having all that it takes, the judges feel her performance is slipping. You started out fierce in this competition. Now let's see you end it fierce!
Ambreal

Ambreal is a 19 year old college student from Dallas, TX.

Sarah

Sarah is a 20 year old college student from Heath, MA.
Sarah was cut for her weak progression and her confusion about where her place is in the modeling world.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ebony

Ebony is a 20 year old nursing student from Chicago.
Ebony dropped out of the competition in episode six.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Janet

Janet is a 22 year old aesthetician from Bainbridge, GA.
Janet was cut when the judges didn't see her as a model and she required too much coaching.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Victoria
3rd Elimination
Victoria is a 20 year old college student from New Haven, CT.
Victoria was cut for her abrasive attitude at the judging panels.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Kimberly
2nd Elimination
Kimerbly is a 20 year old college student from Ocala, FL.

Mila

Mila is a 20 year old college grad from Boston.
Mila was cut when the judges felt she was resting on just being a pretty girl.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

video games, and watching TV. Jacob also enjoys reading Shonen Jump,
