The Bachelor: Bull Dogs, Bullies And Boundaries
Recap and Commentary by RTVC Staff Writer Micole Williams
February 2, 2010

Boundary challenged.
On this episode of The Bachelor, the final five girls head to San Francisco!

The first stop in the “romantic” city is a Five Star hotel and their luscious suite overlooking the busy streets.

There are three one-on-one dates and two two-on-one dates in store for the ladies and gent. The girls left are hoping to be the last standing in order to take Jake home to meet mama.

Tenley is the first to score a one-on-one date with the bachelor. “Finally for me,” she squeals and then remembers to tone down her happiness for girls like Ali, who she happens to be really cool with.

“If Jake sends me home, I will be very, very, devastated,” she says privately. This is probably one of the last girls that this will happen to.

As the two head out, taking a trolley for just the two, Jake understands that Tenley has some pent up emotions due to her ex-husband. He does not hold it against her, but instead empathizes with her. The two share the Chinatown experience together for their day out.

As they stroll, they truly are the “cute couple” out of the group. They have similar fashion styles and both beam with enthusiasm every step of the way. They early on share a short and sweet kiss on the date. “Falling in love in San Francisco would be, so incredible,” Tenley admits. Jake realizes he could be on that same page with the woman he wants to find out more about as the date continues.

At the house, the four women are at it again.

Gia and Vienna are granted the two-on-one date. The girls are going to be the “Queens of Jake’s castle.” Ali is playing mean girl games based on her opinion of Vienna. She says that her attitude towards Vienna, especially when she received the last rose at the last ceremony was due to the fact that she is “talking about other people in the house.” Vienna swears that she has been truthful and doesn’t let Ali’s opinion of her tear her apart.

Overall, Vienna confronting Ali about her attitude seems to throw Ali off a bit - so much that she has to get her lie straight. She really can’t explain her disgust as well as she is expected to.

“A table for two,” kicks off the evening date with Tenley. She is the girl Jake “pictures more as his wife.” The only thing holding him back from not falling too fast is the question of whether her heart is available. She definitely has a valuable place in this man’s heart.

Tenley shares how in her past relationship she did take things for granted and she pours her heart out about how she won’t give up on love despite her failed marriage. She wants him to share his expectations. Jake shares how he “wants his wife to always” have his back. “A marriage is never gonna be perfect, but the love can be.” Tenely is smitten over Jake and his answers.

Ali may need to take her.....
