The Bachelor 11: Don't Fall For Brad

This week on the Bachelor 11, one of the ladies really fell for the Bachelor. This may not seem like anything unusual, but this one really fell - down the stairs. Thankfully, she didn't get seriously hurt, but she did end up going home.
It's not likely that Michele's fall had anything to do with her early exit from the game. Brad certainly seemed appropriately concerned about her when he heard about her accident and subsequent trip to the hospital. He also made a point of visiting with her to talk privately with her before he took the second group of ladies to the beach date. He even spent some more time with her, just before the elimination ceremony.
Maybe he was concerned, and wanted her to go home to enhance her recovery from the "light concussion." Maybe Michele was right, and she blew her chances by not going on the date - though from what we saw, she spent more individual time with Brad than some of the ladies who did go on that date. Or maybe he just didn't feel the same amount of connection with her that he felt with the ladies that he chose to stay.
It's hard to tell.
For me, that's how I feel about this season so far. If Brad feels anything more than a superficial attraction to most of these ladies, he's certainly not making it clear. He is charming, attentive and polite. He certainly appreciates their beauty and charm - and makes it a point to tell them so. But with few exceptions, he's made no more than cocktail chitchat with most of the ladies here, so it's hard to say why Michele - or any of the ladies were eliminated. It's equally hard to say why most of them are still here.
There doesn't seem to be a clear pattern. Some of the ladies that he kept are outgoing; some are quiet. Some are brunette; some are blonde. At one point during the beach date, Brad noted that he was glad some of the ladies are outgoing and that some are quiet. The only thing that's clear is that Brad seems charmed by women who are trying hard not to try so hard. He is entranced by those of them that seem most relaxed around him; whoever they truly are is who he wants them to be. I give him credit for that; though he hasn't made much progress in getting to know them, he seems to be trying to do that.
As far as I can see, here's how they stand so far:
Jenni - 27 - a Phoenix Suns dancer from Wichita, Ks

She's still the obvious choice for #1. Though she wasn't the first girl that Brad kissed, she was the first one that he chose to kiss. He looked like he really enjoyed it, and said he laughs whenever he sees her. He clearly enjoys her company, but she'd better watch out for her jealous rivals. And what's up with that portfolio?
DeAnna - 25 - a realtor from Newnan, Ga
Current Ranking: 2 - Previous Ranking: 2
He's still charmed by her, and they had one of the most in-depth conversations this week. They talked about relationships, and she won one of the early roses. If it doesn't work out with Brad, she should remember that Sean Phillips liked her!
Sarah - 23- a bar manager from O'Fallen, Il

This is another girl whose laugh charmed him. It looked at first like she might be one of the quiet ones, but she charmed him enough to get an early rose.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Estefania - 26 - an executive assistant from Atlanta, Ga

She was bold, charming and friendly. She took off his shirt and did a body shot off his belly. He's attracted and interested. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hillary - 27 - a registered nurse from Philadelphia, Pa
Current Ranking: 5 - Previous Ranking: 8
He really looked comfortable during their time together. They held hands, and he rested his arm on her back. She was jealous when he didn't give her an early rose, but he liked her enough to make her part of the next round.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Solisa - 25 - an esthetician from Georgetown, Tx
Current Ranking: 6 - Previous Ranking: 5
She's bold, she's outrageous - she's good TV! He may not think she's his dream girl, but he's intrigued enough to keep her around for at least another week. He certainly wasn't suffering when he did that body shot off her cleavage. I was intrigued when she told him that she likes to stick to her Christian morals; then promptly stripped off her top and jumped into the water!
Jade - 24 - a boutique saleswoman from Nashville, Tn
Current Ranking: 7 - Previous Ranking: 13
She seems to make a habit of stealing him away from one on one conversations, but it hasn't stopped him from inviting her back. She also took a chance by telling him about Jenni's modeling portfolio, though she was smart enough not to reveal Jenni's name. Let's hope he likes her enough to seek out time with her alone, next week. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Bettina - 27 - a realtor from Hermosa Beach, Ca

A few of this lady's fans have reminded me that she was the "surfer girl" who wanted to teach Brad about surfing last week. This week, they didn't spend much time together but I do think he likes her. She certainly didn't like Solisa's toplessness. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Kristy - 29 - an acupuncturist from Chicago, Il

He was intrigued when she offered her a "tongue reading". This charming lady has made an impression already.
She thought he chose her for the first date because he couldn't wait to see her.
Lindsey - 25 - a model from Livonia, Mi
Current Ranking: 10 - Previous Ranking: 4
I didn't see much interaction between these two this week, either, but I like her smile and I think she may have a chance. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sheena - 23 - an internet marketer from Walnut Creek, Ca

Another lady who didn't spend much time alone with Brad, but she seems sweet and charming.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
McCarten - 26 - an accountant from San Diego, Ca

Although I think he likes her, he was surprised when she kissed him, and she caught him "wiping it off." He said the kiss wasn't that great, but he also said he hopes the next kiss is better. Since he chose her to stay, I guess he wants to take a chance on it. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Michele - 30 - a realtor from South Brunswick, NJ
Eliminated: Week 2
It's too bad that she didn't get to go on one of the dates because of her accident, and also too bad that she had to go home. I didn't see a connection between them but he certainly treated her attentively. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Erin - 25 - a publishing saleswoman from Tampa, Fl
Eliminated: Week 2
I didn't see a lot of interaction between them, but I didn't see it between him and some of the ones he kept, either. I wish her good luck. She seems like a nice girl.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mallory - 24 - a nanny from Honolulu, Hi
Eliminated: Week 2
He seemed to think she was beautiful and adventurous, but he didn't give her a rose. It's hard to say why. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It seems that I had the wrong week for the appearance of Brad's twin. The two brothers certainly look alike! It should be interesting to see what he thinks of the remaining girls. Wouldn't it be interesting if Brad's brother fell for one of them, too?
