The Bachelorette: Ranking The Remaining Ten

Jillian Harris, age 29, from Canada, is the latest bachelorette on ABC’s The Bachelorette Show. She supervises projects in both Canada and United States. She was the third runner-up on The Bachelor show that featured Jason Mesnick. Now it is her turn to pick. She started with 30 guys and now there are ten remaining guys.
The rankings have more to do with how I think Jillian should be ranking the guys based on who I feel best fits her in combination with clues in the editing. I have no idea what Jillian really wants, but I think it is a lot of fun to try to read between the lines, pieces together what I hope are clues, and make my best guess. I love playing armchair matchmaker for Jillian, but ultimately I hope Jillian stays true to her gut and finds someone that can make it last with her after the show is long over.
Most of the guys are nearly the same age as Jillian, either being slightly younger or older. Just by looking, I really can’t tell who is slightly older and who is slightly younger. I hope that age in not a factor in dismissing any of the guys on the show in either direction, but that every guy gets a fair shot based on several criteria.
I am still changing my mind quite a bit. I really want to rank most of the bachelors in the middle. I have no trouble ranking Reid first and Wes last, but everyone else in the middle is really hard to rank. New twists in editing can make a huge difference in my predictions. Some of the really great guys may not be the best match for Jillian. Last week, Juan and David were at the bottom of my rankings and they were eliminated. I am not surprised that Mike went home either.
Reid

I am really going completely out on a limb, but he seems to be getting the flying under the radar editing, so despite little air time, I think he may hang around for a while, like till the very end. He and Jillian have amazing chemistry together and Reid seems to be the only bachelor that can bridge the gap between what Jillian says she wants and what I think that Jillian really wants in a man.
Michael
Current Ranking: 2 Previous Ranking: 3
I have moved him a lot higher on the list than what I think that Jillian has ranked him because so far he seems to best fit what Jillian says that she is looking for in a man. I have a feeling that what Jillian really wants is different than what she is saying she wants, but on paper, Jillian should give Michael a fair shot. He moves up this week a little because other moved down.
Jesse

He was the mvp of this episode. He got some air time this week with Jillian, but I still think he is more of a factor later on based on the editing.
Robby

I have moved him up slightly, because I hope he is a good match for Jillian. I still don’t feel like I know much about him. He seems like a great, grounded, down to earth the guy.
Jake
Current Ranking: 5 Previous Ranking: 2
He received the first official one-on date and so far has appeared and has natural chemistry with Jillian, but has spent little time with Jillian since then. Jake is worried that he is too perfect and I have a sinking feeling that Jillian will think that too.
Ed
Current Ranking: 6 Previous Ranking: 4
Ed is steady. While he handled his date with Jillian really well, I still feel like Jillian pushes him out of his comfort zone a little too much. Opposites attract, but I don’t know that Ed can challenge Jillian the way that she wants.
Kiptyn
Current Ranking: 7 Previous Ranking: 8
He has always had really great natural chemistry with Jillian. Unfortunately, Jillian seems to be hung up on the criteria that a guy should have had his heart broken. This could mean doom for Kiptyn, but I hope he overcome her criteria, since he seems like a good fit for her in the real world.

Well he has had his heart broken and he seemed like a great guy. He finally got air time. I just don’t see him as being the best match for Jillian in the long run.
Tanner P.

His foot fetish is weird for me personally, but I can believe that he likes the rest of Jillian too. While Jillian may appreciate Tanner for stepping forward with information about the other bachelors, I am not seeing that strong of connection between the two. They seem like friends, but not a romantic couple.
Wes

I have a weakness for musicians myself and I can see why Jillian is very attracted to him. I don’t get any depth from him from the editing. If the teasers are to be believed regarding next week, there is going to be a major confrontation between Jillian and Wes.
