Big Brother: Angie Behold, The Perfect Storm

There is no honor between thieves. After Angie leaves, Queen April takes the throne. Then the first night after Angie's orchestrated eviction, the witches' house explodes.
Could anything be more delicious? Now who sounds like one of the witches?
Dammit, they've gotten to me too! I've been infected with the witchy-bitchy flu.
You'd think that with their 'biggest threat' gone, the house would be calm. Maybe that's what the witches thought would happen after Angie was gone.
If they did, they were wrong. Because April, Libra and Keesha remain in the house. Apparently they don't understand yet that they've always been a bigger threat to each other.
Plus, there's a new queen in the house. She's not about to share her power, or HOH room with the people in the alliance she calls friends.
Saturday they were still reassuring each other that non of their moves during the POV competition, were greedy or vicious. Libra says she feels bad. She took a trip from Michele. Oh, and she put her in the dreaded red leotard. I don't buy Libra's remorse. She also gave up the chance to get letters from home. Now they can't stop talking about how upset Michele is. I can't even imagine Libra's reaction had she'd been stuck in that leotard.
Seems the POV competition was held after midnight. It was the end of a very dramatic first day, full of drama and fights, under Queen April's reign. Every other minute, all hell was breaking. No wonder Libra looked stunned about April's win. Compared to her over the top reaction when Keesha won HOH, Libra looked downright glum.
Maybe she realized, in like ten seconds flat, that April's win was April's. And that was that. Maybe Libra knows she holds no sway over April. So she has something to lose. She's already lost her place -way up at the top. Because Queen Keesha allowed her to practically sit in her lap when she owned the throne. But April's throne will be April's alone. It'll be interesting to see, what kind of queen she will be.
April wasn't shy about asking, from the start, for what she needed and expected from the others. She immediately defined her boundaries and laid down the law. Her HOH reign would not be shared, not with her alliance. This was hers, and hers alone.
People were still talking about the grueling HOH competition the next day, and how she took the throne. They wondered if the deal Michele made with April was for Jessie to also stay safe. I'm fairly sure Michele wouldn't have let go unless she heard those words. They also discuss how she kept hanging on-while crying, for over a half hour, after an offer was made.
Now it's a whole different ballgame. And the queen has very specific likes, wants and needs. For example, she was dying to see if Big Brother included straws in her goodie basket. (They did.) Seems she's been drinking everything out of them for at least the past five years. And I mean everything; coffee, and all. Didn't catch the reason. But I suspect I know the cause.
The new HOH Queen has O.C.D.
April wasn't catty that first night of her reign. She wasn't focused on the game. She didn't have to survive. Just for one night, she felt safe.
She was surrounded by pictures and keepsakes and memories. This is why people fight to win HOH. It isn't all about the power. It's also about dipping yourself into the comforts of home, and feeling, even if only for a little while, that you're not in there alone.
April's one moment of weakness happened after the others left her HOH room. Ollie was a gentleman. "I think we should leave her alone." he said, leaving as the cold stone, I knew as April, melted away. She cried and laughed and dissolved in a pain that looked as painfully joyous to watch, as I imagine it must have been to feel. Bittersweet, but velvety strong. That girl held on-for a reason. Perhaps it was this. Or least partly this. It was her twin's note that broke her down. I can only imagine that reading a note from your twin is like reading a note from your core, or your soul. But as soon as she was done, she once again donned the icy blanket she wraps herself with.
Michele looked a little sick.....
