Big Brother: Libra Turns Stepford, Will It Save Her?

What I want to know is this: Who's the new houseguest in the Big Brother 10 house? She looks like Libra. She sounds like Libra. But she most definitely does not talk or act like the Libra we've come to know in Big Brother 10. For two days I've been listening and wondering; where did that Libra go? Both Libra and Keesha seem to have dissolved, or evolved into better versions of their former selves.
Libra's latest tactic is brilliant, when you think about it. Especially as it appears to be totally working. She must be thrilled. She went from being Keesha's sworn enemy, to one of her best friends, yet again in the house! You'd never believe they almost came to blows a few nights before. You'd never know Libra's supposed to be evicted out this week.
Libra's been up and down during her stay in the house. She's also reportedly lost 17 pounds. Unfortunately she still wears a SIZE 11 SHOE! But it's not a thing. She's got shoes galore. Shoes are her thing. Apparently survival is too. Seriously, this girl has skills. She's all smiles all the time now. She has nothing but funny and/or nice things to say. Not that I'm complaining mind you. It's just strange, is all.
It's taking a little time to get used to this new Libra. I keep waiting for the old Libra, to reappear. Unfortunately for Libra, time's not on her side. Especially if things go according to plan. I do think that if Libra had spent more time over the last few weeks, acting like this Libra, I would have been a fan. How about you? I'm also pretty much convinced that this sudden shift in mood has absolutely been a strategy move for her. If so, it's working. It's deviously brilliant in it's simplicity. She's just killing them with kindness. While she's at it, Libra may be winning back some of the hearts and minds inside the house. She may even be working magic with those of us watching on the outside too. I've got to admit I'm kind of impressed. Any time someone thinks of a strategy that doesn't involved cruelty and damage, it's a step in the right direction.
I wonder if the houseguests have noticed that the new and improved Libra's almost like some kind of Stepford Libra? She's all sugar and spice. She's acting so nice. This can't be the real Libra. Or maybe it is. God these people aren't very bright if they can't at least see that she's acting differently. Keesha doesn't get it. Because it's over her head. She's in a good mood 'cause she blows like the wind. But I'm sure this personality change is starting to worry some of the other Houseguests. Because the nicer she is, the harder it will be to evict her. Libra might even flip the house, and the votes. Any thing's possible. Things turn on a dime. So I won't be surprised if Libra changes some minds. And if she does stay, by surviving her planned eviction, I won't be at all surprised if she then wins the next HOH competition. Wouldn't that be a bitch of a switch? It's happened often enough in the past. So I won't put anything past her, nor will I be surprised. People have survived the well laid plans of their orchestrated evictions in the past. I'll tell you the karma and luck these people have sure seems to work ass-backwards sometimes.
Then again, maybe it's all working just fine.
Libra's been spending all of her time, spreading the majority of her now overflowing abundance of goodness and light, primarily on Keesha. So Keesha's also been acting brighter, and lighter. But she's just reflecting Libra's light. It's hard to believe Keesha's the same confrontational, angry drunken girl from just the other night. Meanwhile Libra and Keesha continue to pretend they won't care if they get evicted. This is fairly typical. Keesha says she's sick of this house anyway. Besides, she thinks it'll be fun to lay up in a sequester house. They always look damn good to me too. Although the lack of even a single, Sequester/Jury House live feed, is one of my major pet peeves. If you're going to move these people into another house, where they're freer, and have nothing to lose, dammit I want to see what's happening there! Tell the truth, Don't you?
The whole house has been on it's better behavior, well minus the sex talk last night. You'd never believe this crazy house was torn up and allegedly shocked after Jerry's POV ceremony speech. Because latter that night they were all in there giggling. It was pizza time in the Big Brother house. They've been on slop, so they were starving. The mood had been fun and light all night. I don't even think booze was involved. Dan says they shouldn't expect any for the next month, especially after the collecting of the steak knives.
Yes, Big Brother actually had Renny.....
As for Keesha and Libra, if you keep booze out of the picture over the next few days, those two could end up being the best of friends. And Libra might pull the wool over every one's eyes and survive her impending eviction.
