Big Brother: Devilish Dan The Heartless Man
Compassionately Written, Smart-Ass-Big-Brother-Commentary by Cindy Rutolo Dietrich
September 9, 2008
There's something horribly, wonderfully wrong about watching somebody self destruct on live T.V. Finally, finally, there was some action in the old Big Brother House. But Oh God, how it actually kind of sucked! Everything about it was wrong! I especially hated watching Keesha continue to confide in Dan. He's the reason. He's the rhyme. He's the one behind the whole damn storm! Girl, Wake the hell up!

For Keesha, it's all about Memphis now. I can't believe Memphis is going to do this to me! She wails, trailing off. "It's all in his hands." Seems she's figured that the boys are planning on voting her out. But for some reason it's all Memphis's fault.

I can't believe that Memphis will let her imagination run wild. I can't believe he'll continue to let Dan pull all of the strings. I can't believe he'll let all of her allegations go without saying a thing. I can't believe he'll allow the night to slip by without explaining a thing, or ever showing his hand to Keesha. What the hell does he have to lose? He really isn't that smart, or that smooth if he really doesn't get how this once again benefits only the ever increasingly, devilish Dan. Memphis even offers up himself as a sacrifice, to Dan. I can just hear Dan practicing his gloating during his Diary Room Speech now. "It couldn't have gone more perfectly." He'll later gloat. I can almost see devil horns gently float above his head now every time that he speaks.  I can almost see them when he just thinks. They can add special effects can't they? Maybe they should add them when he's in the diary room. But they don't really need them now, do they? He pretty much has his own effect.

I can't tell you how happy I was to hear Keesha finally, albeit only briefly, turn on Dan too. "How long have you known Dan?" She asked the man pulling all of of Memphis's insipid strings. If Dan gets through this unscathed, I think I'll scream! Because of course her Dan wraith, doesn't last. Not at all! No, she's turned all of her scorn onto Memphis, who doesn't say squat. He doesn't say Dan's a part of this. Memphis apparently doesn't get that she'll take her scorn against him, with her to the Jury House. She was wrapping her grief up in angry, Memphis scorn. It's easier to be angry. Well, it's a little less painful anyway. Either way, she's been betrayed. I just wanted her to know that Memphis wasn't alone. And it's really pissing me off cause I can't let her know!  It becomes really, really hard to watch Dan pretend to care. Watch Dan pretend to share. Watch Dan pretend that he knew nothing. Watch Dan lie, and lie, and then lie again. Especially because I fear that they'll end up rewarding him in the end too.

NO! NO! NO! Don't reward Dan too!

She was also angry with Jerry. But she's furious with Memphis. "He fucking knows!" She wails about Jerry. "The fucking biggest smart ass in the house is fucking safe. I hope you win it. I hope that YOU win it. Out of all these fucking people." Finally Dan looked worried when she said this. Dan bit his lip. Oh, I forgot, that's his fake worried, bit-lip look.

"I think that you are actually a genuine person. I don't want one of these other fucking other people winning this shit." Crap! For a moment there I thought/hoped that she was still talking about Jerry. But no. She was talking about Dan. I call him the devil, cause that girl couldn't be more wrong.

She's all tearful, and distraught. All blue eyed, and store bought when she says the words he's secretly yearned to hear...Okay, maybe not these, exact words mind you. But, well you'll see.

"How am I fucking supposed to fucking stay in this house over night? He better not even sleep next to me. He may as well sleep in the other room."

Dan makes the offer. He may have had to hold in the drool. Man, I just know he's been dying for this. "Do you want to sleep up here?" He asks fast. Breathlessly. All slimy, and not innocently in the least little way. She continues talking though like he didn't say a thing.

She's not done raging.....
