Big Brother: A Change Of Plans - Who Is Going Home Now?
Feed and Spoiler Report by Ron Lemon
Covering Saturday, Sept 6th, 1:00pm to Sunday, Sept. 7th, 1am Big Brother Time
September 7, 2008
They finally wake up about one o'clock Saturday afternoon. Most of them anyway. Jerry is still laying in bed and although he is not moving, we assume he is alive. Or I assume that Big Brother assumes he is alive. He hasn't moved.
The rest are in the kitchen making whatever people who sleep until one have for breakfast. They are talking about restaurants they want to eat at when they get out of the house. But these particular restaurants haven't paid for a commercial plug so Big Brother keeps cutting the feeds.
I settle down for a boring afternoon and evening of feed watching. One of the weaknesses with this show is that when it gets to the final four it often seems like it is over, or least way too predictable to me. And they often don't have much to do. Something the hamsters often complain about.
In this case the nominations are in and the Power of Veto competition is done. We pretty much know what is going to happen. And what might surprise us will probably not have much impact on the game. I'm hoping they prove me wrong. And just in case you don't know about the noms and the PoV, shame on you for not keeping up. You can stay after class or you can read:
The Nominations Are In – The PoV Is Over!
The question now is who will leave? Memphis and Jerry are nominated. Memphis has the Power of Veto and his middle is not Marcellus so I expect him to save himself. Only Keesha remains to go up. The Renegade boys are giving serious consideration to voting Keesha out and keeping Jerry. It's a good game move and I would not be surprised if they make it. This takes Keesha out of the final HoH endurance portion of the competition and replaces her with Jerry. It's a sure win for one of the Renegades. But loyalty and honor could still win out and they boot Jerry. We'll see.
Finally around five o'clock Big Brother time we get some game talk. Dan and Memphis are in the HoH room and Dan is saying “We have to put ourselves in the position where we don't have to win the third heat.” He is talking about the final Head of Household competition. They think, and they are probably correct, that the first round, “heat” will be endurance. They know that Keesha has a shot at winning an endurance competition. Jerry has little chance. So again they are thinking towards voting Keesha out on Thursday. Which really means Memphis, who will have the only vote, will vote her out. Memphis says “This is insane! Ashley is probably wigging out right now.”
Dan says “I'm starting to get worked up, I need to calm down. Memphis says “We've got a long week and my fear is that on Thursday Julie is going to tell us to rest because we've got a few days before the competition starts.”
