Big Brother: Jerry is “Out Of Sight And Out Of Mind”

On Thursday, I left the houseguests at 9:30. After Memphis won the second part of the HoH competition, the rest of the evening was painfully quiet.
At 9:30, Dan and Jerry are inside. Jerry is talking about when he was in the navy. Dan is acting interested, but maybe it’s just out of boredom. Jerry tells stories about when he was stationed in Korea. Then he talks about Japan, and how he went to bars and saw girls everywhere. Dan asks if they were “girls who are working for other things.” Jerry says yes, and that a lot of them were American. Dan says something about hating “political bs,” basically that the soldiers “should be provided all the best stuff” if they have to be overseas.
Dan and Jerry talk about Jerry’s travels, and Jerry says he loved Scotland the most. Then Jerry tells Dan that he’s going to give Dan a “quick history of the Roman empire.” And with that, I have officially lost all interest in this conversation and have declared it snack time at my house!
At 10:30, Memphis is with Jerry in the living room, and Dan is in the diary room. Dan comes out, and they talk about what they’re going to do when they get out.
Around 11:00, Jerry is in the diary room, so the boys have some time to talk. They promise not to screw each other over, and they have “a final handshake right now, a deal that says if you break your word I’ll cut your hand off.” Dan give Memphis his cross until Thursday. Dan says it’s the last thing his grandpa gave him, and it’s a sign of their deal. Memphis says he maybe shouldn’t wear it in front of Jerry (ya think?). They talk about how their alliance has been strong since week four.
They sit down to eat and keep celebrating their prize winnings. Memphis says he can’t wait to see Brian, and they’ll have a good time with him. He wants them to meet up with Brian and Angie after the show.
They’re done eating and cleaning up the kitchen and talking about part two of the HoH competition. Memphis says Jerry just took too long and thought about things too much.
Memphis wants to have a Renegades clothing line to sell to Wal-Mart to “target middle America” (so many things wrong with that statement I wouldn’t even know where to begin). He says “middle America is the kind of person who watches this show, and Wal-Mart is more along their lines than Gucci.” (I swear, I’m going to send Memphis a link to my articles AND a picture of me with my Gucci bag!)
The boys laugh at the thought of Jerry sitting in the diary room and saying that he’s safe. Memphis says that tomorrow when the game starts, he’s going to look at Dan and say “let’s do this Judas!”
The dishes are done, and Dan and Memphis head out to the hot tub. They’re really full of themselves. They are SURE that they’re going to be on the next BB allstars, and they’re making plans to do Amazing Race.
