Big Brother: Really Fast Forward!
Spoiler Free Commentary by Mike Shields
August 30, 2008
Well, I was unable to give my spoiler free commentary on Tuesday's airing of Big Brother due to previous commitments. What this means is we've got a lot to cover and commentate on today, so, let's get started.

Tuesday's veto competition was a puzzle race in two heats. Keesha won the first, and Memphis won the second. So, already we have a great setup for Dan's eventual giving over of the replacement nominee to Ollie. If I were Memphis here, I would've thrown the competition, simply because he knew that Keesha would remove him from the block, and it would've been an easier way to break up the Renny/Ollie couplet.

But as we all know, the best laid plans of mice and men, etc. and Memphis won. Ollie knew he'd use the veto on himself, so, he immediately went to Dan and said, I want you to put up Keesha. Of course, not before Dan and Memphis had a mini celebration in the HoH room. Dan replied to Ollie with the same throw away “ok” he gave in the pool, when he stated he'd save Jesse. Remember back then? It seems like so long ago. Ollie should've figured something was up.

When it came time to put up a replacement nominee, Dan asked the other contestants to play, “Replacement Nominee Roulette!!” Not exactly what Ollie had in mind, and he didn't even realize he was about to be blind-sided. He asked the four that were left, to name who they wanted to go up in Memphis' place. Michelle went first, and said Keesha. Ollie went next, and gave Renny's name. Keesha in turn said Michelle, and finally Renny returned Ollie's favor, and named him.

Dan then gave a speech about how putting your fate in someone else's hands is not a good way to play the game, and that Ollie gambled and lost, and he put Michelle up for eviction. And thinking quickly, he walked away. Jerry adapted his say nothing strategy for the second time, which again worked brilliantly....

Michelle of course went ballistic in the diary room. Then she went off to cry in her pillow. I'm guessing she kind of sensed the end was near, as this was The Renegades plan all along, to evict Michelle. That's why Dan created Replacement Nominee Roulette in the first place. He manipulated the whole thing, causing Ollie and Michelle to come up with the unique conspiracy theory that he's a plant in the game, e.g. “America's Player.” While Dan was indeed our guy for a week, he is currently no longer in that situation, in case you've tuned in late. Remember the most obvious solution is most always the right one, and in this case, Dan had a plan for the entire week, which played out the way he wanted it to.

Michelle got evicted by.....
