Big Brother: Wine, Whine And Selflove
Episode 4 Recap by Jenny Lane
July 21, 2008
Previously on Big Brother 10, Libra, April and Ollie planned to take down Brian, and got the majority of the houseguests to join their campaign. The group of eight went to Jerry with their plan, and told him he had to nominate Brian, or risk his own place in the house.

At the PoV meeting, Jessie used the PoV to save himself. Jerry did as told and nominated Brian for eviction. Brian tries to make friends and save himself. As some of the houseguests seemed to enjoy Brian’s company, the alliance started to turn on each other and fighting began.

When it came time to vote, Brian was evicted by a score of nine to one. At the HoH competition, Jessie gained control, and tonight we’ll find out who he decides to nominate.

Tonight’s episode begins after Brian’s eviction. Dan says he stayed true to his word by not voting Brian out, but it made him “stick out like a sore thumb.” Steven says he had to fight back tears when Brian left. Ollie says he feels responsible for Brian leaving, but his ‘relationship’ with April is much more important to him than an agreement he made with Brian. Jerry says Brian created the situation, and he (Jerry) didn’t have any choice. Angie says it was difficult to see Brian go, and now she has to “deal with people that got on my nerves.”

Libra is relieved that her biggest threat is gone. Jessie says “Brian’s picture turning to black and white is a good look for him, his teeth look whiter and his hair isn’t gray anymore.” Renny says she’s happy she made it through the first week.

Everyone is sitting around the dining room table. Jerry says “Julie really hit me about having to betray Brian,” referring to his interview in the HoH room before the eviction. Jessie tells him that it wasn’t betrayal. Jerry says he told Julie that he “faced it like a man” and also talks (again) about not wearing anything military for the PoV nomination or live show.

Dan says that the no military clothing showed that Jerry knew what he was doing was wrong. Renny says “colonel, you have to be careful about giving it out in the game.” Jerry gets mad and tells Renny that she doesn’t know anything about anything. Jerry says “he turned on me, I didn’t turn, he’s the one who broke the deal that we made, he broke his word with me.” So apparently, as long as someone else breaks his word first, it’s ok for Jerry to do the same. Jerry gets up, tells Renny that she doesn’t listen, and walks away.

Next, we see the Jessie win the HoH competition. He says he sees this as an opportunity to get back at Renny. Keesha says that April was “being a little Barbie bitch” when she leapt up into Jessie’s arms to congratulate him. Angie says Jessie suspects that she tried to keep Brian in the house. She says it was a bad move on her part, and she shouldn’t have done it. Renny says this is her biggest nightmare, and it’s going to be a long week. Steven says “they want to divide the house into two groups, those that like Brian and those that didn’t.”

Jessie and Memphis celebrate the win in the storeroom, and say it’s the best case scenario. Jessie says he knows he has one of the biggest targets on his back. Memphis says he and Jessie are going to help each other get further in this game.

Ollie, Michelle, Libra and Jessie celebrate in the bedroom with a silent happy dance. Angie walks in and the celebrating instantly stops.

In the kitchen, Dan tells.....
