Big Brother: That Was The Calm Michelle?
Episode 21 Recap by Logan Huffman
August 29, 2008
Previously on ‘Big Brother’, Dan promised nearly all of his HOH power to Ollie, and with the deal, became the new HOH. Ollie instructed Dan to put up Memphis, which he did, alongside Jerry.

Memphis and the rest of Dan’s alliance became upset, even though he tried to reassure them that things would work out. At the Veto Ceremony, Memphis won the Veto, deciding to save himself from the block. Dan had instructed all four of the players in danger of being nominated to say one of the other ones names, hoping to anger each other and keep himself out of the spotlight. After Memphis saved himself, Dan went back on his word to Ollie to keep Michelle safe, and Michelle was backdoored onto the block. Who will be evicted in tonight’s special double-eviction episode?

Julie welcomes us to tonight’s show, quickly recapping the events before we go into the house and see what chaos Dan’s tactics have caused. We see the flashback of the Veto Ceremony and Dan’s game ‘Replacement Nominee Roulette’, followed by Michelle’s blindside nomination. Ollie tells us that he is angry that Dan didn’t follow through on his plan and backdoored Michelle, adding that Dan disrespected and mocked him, and he’s the biggest snake of the game. Dan shrugs at Ollie as he walks by, telling us that it was his goal to cause utter chaos and confusion during the ceremony so there wouldn’t be a target on his back. Jerry tells us that Ollie put a lot of faith in a man that doesn’t keep his word, and he didn’t, as he adds that he plans to say nothing, since Michelle will probably self-destruct.

Self-destruction under way, Michelle starts screaming in the Dairy Room that this is a crock of shit, and not to play her like she is a fucking idiot, because she knows what’s going on here. She adds that she is sitting in the nomination chair because of fucking roulette, and she is telling everyone that they are messing with the wrong person.

Later as Dan and his allies head outside, Dan says that if you want to make an omelet, you have to break some eggs. Back inside, Ollie hugs Michelle and tells her that Dan lied. Jerry says that he screwed them, and Ollie says that he is a snake and a plant. Ollie tells us that many things lead him to believe that Dan is a plant, adding that he isn’t a regular houseguest, as no one with the goal of winning $500,000 would do half the things Dan has done.

Ollie tells Michelle that he is going outside to call Dan out. Ollie storms outside, asking Dan if he has some stories that everyone wants to hear. Dan encourages him to keep talking, and Ollie tells everyone to take it for what it’s worth. After Michelle comes outside, Keesha tells her and Ollie that they turned on her. Ollie and Michelle both start screaming that Dan told Michelle to say Keesha’s name (not exactly true). Keesha says that she would be crazy to be mad at Dan.

Michelle yells that Dan is a plant in the house and that his football picture is fake. Ollie explains to Keesha that there were three parts to the deal he made with Dan. Ollie says that while Memphis did go up, Michelle was not protected, and when Memphis used the Veto – he stops as Dan gets up and walks away, telling Dan to stay and listen. Dan says that he doesn’t have to convince anyone, and Ollie says that Dan gave his word to Monica (his girlfriend) and his family, and he’s walking away.

After Dan goes inside, he says to himself, “Let the chaos ensue.” In the Diary Room, Dan says that you never see anyone light a fuse and stand there, so he got away. Ollie is still on his rampage, saying that he should have gotten to choose the replacement nominee, and that he was calling the shots all week, adding that the only thing Dan did was nominate Jerry, and going even further by calling himself the actual HOH. Memphis asks what that has to do with anything, and Ollie says that Dan is a plant and he backdoored Michele. Memphis asks who gives a fuck, and Ollie says that he can say that, followed by Memphis agreeing, since he’s not on the block. Ollie says, “Congratulations, homey, give yourself a cookie!”

Memphis tells us that Ollie got played, and the things that come out of Ollie’s mouth, especially the conspiracy theories about Dan, are hilarious. Ollie tells them all that he is done, and they can take it for whatever it’s worth. Keesha says that if he had it his way, it would have been her on the block instead of Michelle. Ollie acknowledges this, prompting Keesha to say that she can’t complain. Ollie says that she should know what she’s working with. Memphis asks Ollie why he would think that they don’t know that already. Keesha agrees that they have known that the whole time. Ollie repeats that they should know what they are working with, and he is sick of them when he is just trying to be nice all of them time. He calls Memphis a red-headed cabbage patch kid as he storms inside.

Ollie storms upstairs to.....
