Big Brother: "Do You Guys Think I'm A Dummy?"
Episode 22 Recap by Jenny Lane
September 1, 2008
Previously on Big Brother 10, Dan’s bizarre game of “replacement nominee roulette” at the PoV meeting caused an uproar in the house. Dan went against his deal with Ollie and put Michelle on the block. Ollie threw a temper tantrum and threw things all over the place.
On eviction night, the houseguests were shocked to find out that it was a double eviction night. The first evicted houseguest was Michelle. New HoH Keesha nominated Jerry and Ollie, and Ollie was the next to be evicted. This left Jerry all alone, and Dan’s alliance of four stronger than ever.
Tonight begins with a look back on last Thursday’s chaos. We see Michelle get evicted by a vote of three to one. Jerry tells us that now his alliance is dwindling, leaving him vulnerable. Keesha says she feels bad for Michelle, but she knew Michelle was targeting her. Renny says she couldn’t keep Michelle, because she needed to be loyal to her alliance. Ollie says he “will avenge her leaving.” Memphis says Michelle was a complainer and a pain in the ass, and she thought she deserved the money more than anyone else.
After Michelle’s out the door, it’s time for the next HoH competition. It’s a question and answer competition, and it came down to Keesha and Jerry. The final question is to convert time into seconds, and both Keesha and Jerry are miles away. Keesha sucked a tiny bit less than Jerry, so she’s the new HoH.
In the living room, Keesha nominates Jerry and Ollie for eviction. (I don’t know why BB is wasting so much time showing us all of this again.) Then we see the PoV competition, where Dan wins by being the first to dig through the hay and find the PoV symbol.
Dan grabs Keesha and asks her who she wants to go home. Keesha says Ollie, and Dan says “okay, it’s done.” He asks Memphis if he heard that, and he did. Then he goes and tells Renny, who also agrees. Dan and Memphis celebrate their plan going forward successfully.
At the PoV meeting, Dan does not us the PoV on either Jerry or Ollie. The eviction is next, and Ollie stands up before Julie even announces his name. She announces that it’s by a vote of three to zero, and Ollie is halfway to the door.
The final four alliance celebrates still being in the house. Jerry realizes that he’s the next to go as far as the others are concerned.
Jerry talks to Renny and drives her crazy, so she finally walks away to get away from him. (We see dorky tuba-ish music every time Jerry comes on.) Renny gets to the bedroom and the guys tell her that they’ll try to keep Jerry away from her. The four take their celebration into the living room, and talk about how sure they are that they’re the final four. Meanwhile, Jerry unpacks his suitcase.
