Big Brother: Gorilla My Dreams And The Hatchet Man

Previously on Big Brother 10, Memphis saved Dan with the PoV. HoH Jerry then had to no choice but to nominate Renny in Dan’s place. Jerry then tried to turn Dan, Memphis and Keesha against each other. The three compared notes, so Jerry’s plan backfired. At the eviction ceremony, Dan and Memphis sent Renny to the jury house. At the next HoH competition, Dan became the new HoH, securing the renegade alliance for the final three.
BB then surprised the houseguest, and a sumo wrestler appeared in their living room! Tonight, we’ll see the luxury competition and Dan’s eviction nominations.
Tonight’s episode begins on day 59 as Renny is evicted. Keesha talks about how hard it was to watch Renny leave. Jerry says he failed, because he didn’t send Dan home. Memphis says his whole plan was to get rid of Renny, and he accomplished that. Dan says everyone in the jury house loves Renny, so that’s why she had to go.
Next, we see Dan win the HoH competition. He tells us that now he has a one in three chance at $500,000. Memphis says this keeps the renegades off the block, but the last time Dan was HoH, he nominated Memphis. Memphis says “if Dan nominates me again, I’m going to hurt him.” Keesha says she’s concerned, because she’s “starting to think that Dan is a little closer to Memphis than he is to me” (starting?). Jerry says he needs to try to pick his way through the house and find some way to win.
When they go inside after the HoH competition, the sumo wrestler is waiting for them in the living room. He’s sitting on a chair, not saying a word and staring straight ahead. Then, in Japanese, he says “I’m sitting on the information you need.” He says the same line over and over, and Keesha looks genuinely afraid of the guy. Memphis wonders if they’re supposed to “sumo him for the money.”
Sumo man stands up and sits down again, but nobody notices the envelope that’s on his little chair. Dan asks “why are you here” and sumo man says the same line again. Then he gets up and kicks off to the side a few times, and sits back down. He does it again, and finally Dan notices the envelope.
Dan and Jerry are sitting on the couches, and Memphis and Keesha are standing a little further away. The next time sumo man gets up, Dan reaches over and grabs the envelope. He opens it and it says “congratulations houseguests, by managing to obtain this letter you have officially launched a very special luxury competition, the winner will be awarded an amazing trip out of the house, a trip that could impact the game, more details tomorrow.” Mission accomplished, sumo man exits.
Dan and Memphis are in the bedroom having another silent celebration about their positions in the game. Keesha is alone and sulking. Dan comes in and asks her what’s wrong. Memphis joins them, so Jerry is in the living room alone. Keesha says that Jerry is going to try to get between them. Dan says they’ll be fine, as long as Jerry doesn’t get the PoV. Keesha says “we just need to be under the same understanding, which I think we all are.” The boys smile and nod, but she doesn’t look convinced.
Later, Keesha continues to sulk outside. She’s sighing and sniffling and sad now that Renny is gone.
Memphis and Jerry are talking, and Jerry is going over his sob story about why he needs the money. Jerry tells him that he’s grasping at straws now. He tells Memphis that the jury house has already decided that they’re going to give the win to a woman if there is one, so she should go next. Memphis tells us that he’s not sure if Keesha or Jerry should go to the final three with him and Dan.
Dan, Jerry, Memphis and Keesha are sitting outside and watching their new pet, Ted the spider. Memphis runs around the yard and catches a moth to give to Ted. Dan helps him, and Keesha yells and screams and tells him not to be so mean to the moth. Memphis thought that was great fun, so he and Dan wander around the yard looking for something else to give the spider. This time, Ted scrambles over to the moth and really goes at him. Memphis and Dan watch in amazement and fascination as Keesha’s mouth is hanging open in horror.
It’s time for Dan’s HoH room. There are more pictures of his girlfriend, and some of his family. Jerry sees a picture of Dan graduating and starts yelling about how fat Dan used to be. Dan reads a letter from his Dad, which tells him to “say a lot in a few words.”
The next morning, there are.....
