Big Brother: What To Expect Tonight

Big Brother 8 premieres tonight! It's been a long year and our favorite summer guilty pleasure is finally back. I wish they would run this show year round. But if they did I would never get any sleep. I'm addicted to the show and the live feeds, but it's a happy addiction.
Let's remember that tonight's show is not live. Although CBS will do it's best to give it a live feel, it is just not possible. Fourteen hamsters entered the house two or three days ago. And they have been busy since they walked into the house.
First up will be our introduction to the hamsters and we'll see them enter the house. I suspect we will see two groups enter separately. I think we will see seven of them enter and they will go up to the Head of Household room and hide from the seven who have not yet entered. They won't be told why they have to do that. The spy screen will be revealed and they will watch the remaining seven enter the house. And this is when they will find out that their "Worst Enemies" have entered the house. The reactions will be fun to watch. The two groups will then meet and we'll have more reactions as the second group realizes that Big Brother has screwed them as well.
Now none of that is official. It's just my guess at how CBS will introduce the enemies to each other. I suspect we will see something very much like it. We don't know if all the houseguests have an "enemy" in the house. We know of only two pairs for sure.
Daughter Daniele and Daddy Dick are one pair. Rival Cheerleaders Carol and Jessica are the other pair we have confirmed. I'm sure we'll learn about more tonight. Will anybody walk out of the house when they learn what is going on? Carol's dad has predicted she might. Big Brother has an alternate standing by. Her name is Samantha. We may see her tonight.
We will see the Head of Household competition which was most likely taped yesterday. There may be only one, which it traditional, or paired HoH's as was done last year. Wouldn't it be fun if the pair were enemies?
We will see the HoH's nominations for eviction. Who will be the first two hamsters to be nominated? I'm guessing Dick and Kali. I'm thinking the predominately young cast is not going to like the old folks. And I suspect nobody is going to like Dick for a number of reasons. They will be easy nominations to make for the first time, nervous, and unsure HoH.
It's possible that the Power of Veto competition, the Food Competition, and - or a luxury competition have been held and will be shown. But I doubt it. The first eviction is not until next Thursday so there is no real reason to have already run them. Most likely the PoV competition will be held, as is traditional, on Saturday.
The food competition will most likely be held tomorrow and once again the losers will be on slop. Producer Alison Grodner has decided that PB & J is too good for hamsters.
Big Brother will probably mention the "America's Player" twist and maybe, just maybe, will reveal who the mole is. But they will not reveal the first America's Player Tasks that we can choose from for him or her to perform until Sunday night's show. Don't forget to vote. I am picking Mike as the mole. Just my gut feeling based on his previous Reality TV experience.
I expect we will see some drama tonight. People will be crying and whining about being stuck in the house with someone they hate or can't get along with. But outwardly, to each other, they will try to get along. It's about the money after all.
What I am hoping to see is an alliance between a pair of enemies. A hidden alliance. That could be fun.
Tonight we'll get a glimpse at how it all plays out. And tomorrow I'll tell you exactly what I think of it all.

Because of her sisterly relation to her "Big Brother" it's really important that Big Sister's identity remain covert - we wouldn't want the parental unit getting wind of her snooping and "ground" her. Fortunately around here they can keep a secret much better than most of the major networks!
