Big Brother: Daddy Defends His Cheerleader

Well this is a Big Brother first for me. I recently got an email from someone who claims to be Kansas State Senator Phil Journey who is the father of hamster Carol Journey. I have no way of confirming it's him. And nothing that indicates it's not him. I'm betting it's legitimate.
Carol's daddy takes issue with me, an possibly other sites as well, because I called her an air head. Toughen up dad, it is going to get a lot worse. You're little girl is on Big Brother. Not a show known for well-mannered, educated pillars of the community. Anybody who goes on this show without the knowledge that they are going to be the focus of a truck load of sarcasm is showing just how naive they are. Although air head works there as well.
People are going to be watching her 24 hours a day, seven days a week. They'll see her in bed, and she may not always be alone, they'll see her in the bathroom, in the hot tub and I would almost guarantee at some time she will be drunk. Daddy's little girl is probably going to embarrass you. I suspect it won't be the first time.

In the interests of fairness we should let dad have his say. Here is the email I received.
Hi,
I am Carol’s Father. I want to help set the record straight I have already see what appears to be weak attempts at humor.
She is a junior and the University of Kansas. 3.2 - 3.5 GPA Accepted into the School of Business and trying to decide between Business Finance or Marketing. After this maybe she will choose a double Major. In high school she had a 4.2 GPA with honors. She was in the top 3% of the class.
She has been in competitive dance since she was 4. She has been studying jazz, tap and ballet for 17 years.
After high school she went to KU not just because it is a great school but their dance team is competitive on a national level. If you have not heard of the UDA or the Universal Dance Association you have watched their competitions on ESPN2. For the last 2 summers she has worked for the UDA.
Carol began teaching dance at the YMCA when she was 16 years old. When she was not judging competitions for UDA she was teaching dance clinics at high school though college levels. She was scheduled to teach another high school when she was selected for the show. She also had to resign from the Squad for the Kansas City Chiefs. They still have her up on their website.
She enjoys competitive sports, played softball through high school usually as the catcher.
Carol has 2 sisters Vivian and Lauren along with little brother Derek. Vivian is 26 and due to have her 1st child in October. Carol was concerned before she left that she might miss the birth of her first niece.
That's the letter. He has posted on another site that he thinks there is a chance his daughter will walk out of the house as soon as she finds out that her "enemy" Jessica is in the house. Evidently there is some bad blood between rival cheerleaders. He calls it a "one in three chance". I suspect her "walking out" is his wishful thinking. We'll find out tonight.

Because of her sisterly relation to her "Big Brother" it's really important that Big Sister's identity remain covert - we wouldn't want the parental unit getting wind of her snooping and "ground" her. Fortunately around here they can keep a secret much better than most of the major networks!
