Big Brother: Hamsters Scurry And Kiss Up To HoH Jen
Commentary and Report by Big Sister

Last night on Big Brother Cheerleader Carol went home. The girl waited until the day before eviction to start playing the game. It was just too late no matter what deals she made. It is very common in the early stages of Big Brother for the herd mentality to rule the day. And that's what happened here. Nobody wanted to stand out and not "go with the flow". Nobody wanted to increase the size of the target on their back. Once it was obvious to the hamsters which way the vote would go they all went along to get along.
And Carol went home.
I wasn't surprised but I was disappointed. I'm not a fan of Amber and think it would have been smarter for Mrs. Robinson and the boys to break up the Dustin - Amber alliance early. They cold have brought Carol under control.
What did surprise me last night was Jen winning the Head of Household competition. I suspect by the time her reign is over the hamsters will want her to have a new shirt and this one should say Jen-Vicious. I am wondering how many hamsters just didn't want to be HoH this early and threw the competition. I'm sure Zach did. Out on the first question? Really? And he was the only one? I suspect many of them just didn't want it. But I also have to give credit to Jen, she did answer them all correctly.
And of course there is controversy circulating on the web. It happens every year. Somebody wins something that somebody didn't want them to win so the fix must be in.
This time the theory goes that there were two possible answers to the tie-breaking question about how much water the tea cup could hold. If Jen had gone with a high number she would have won with that. Or if she went with a low number then they could say because of the entrance to the tea cup and all the water spilling out of it, the low number is correct, and again Jen wins. Please. The answer was obviously a low number, the tea cup can not hold water that would obviously spill out. Some people are even
more obsessed with this show than I am.
So let's move on to the real happenings in the house. What happened after the show?
Jen got to see her HoH room and of course she was disappointed. She said she was "kind of pissed" because they didn't change it. All they did was change the pictures on the wall. Of course she didn't like several of the photos that included her and took them off the walls. She is going to have a major breakdown when she sees all the screen captures of her that have been posted on the net.
We finally get a glimpse at the root of the problem between Daniele and her father. Daniele tells Jen and Kail that she "was traumatized when she was little by her father's farting. I hate that." Wow, the fart monster should be in jail. She doesn't mention the loan that was talked about in the interviews with her brother and grandmother.
Later the fart monster and Nick are talking and Nick asks "who do you think she'll target? You for sure." Dick says "Oh yeah, that wouldn't have been any different if I hadn't sad something. Me and someone else, don't know who the second will be." Nick says "Maybe Danielle and Amber. You don't know Dick." Dick says he "will die if my key comes out of the box." Nick mentions that someone could be working her and Dick says that Amber thinks that as well, but he doesn't. Nick says "She's pissed at Amber because she (Amber) called her out about not eating with everyone the night she cooked. Joe is probably stirring the pot with me. You never know."
Nick goes on to tell Dick that "she's at my ear yapping away and I can't believe her, she just said I wasn't thinking about putting Dick up but now I am." He adds, "I heard rumors she was putting up two guys."
Dick says that he will try to make a deal.....
