Big Brother: The Jen And Dick Alliance - Yeah, Really
Commentary and Report by Big Sister
August 5, 2007

Warning: Spoiler Material Below
After yesterday's Big Brother Power of Veto competition some hamsters ran for cover, others scurried to their favorite plotting partner, and almost without exception they all began to lie. There are so many lies and deceits being woven in the house that none of them can possibly know the truth about anything. But of course they think they do.

If you missed all the drama that led up to the PoV comp you can catch up with it here:

Hyper Dick, Crying Amber, And The Veto Results

The veto competition itself seems to have been a "What would you give up to win the Power of Veto" challenge. They gave up a lot! A lot more than I would have. I'll give you a rundown, but first a caution. It has been very difficult to piece all this together, but I think it is accurate.

Jameka gave up getting family pictures whenever she is HoH.
Zach and Daniele have to wear bunny costumes until Wednesday.
Zach is on slop for a week.
Jameka, Kail, Daniele, Jen and Zach must pour a bucket of what Big Brother called "Poopy Stuff" over their heads once an hour for the next 24 hours. I think it is slop and chocolate sauce mixed with water.
Jen and Kail are on slop for the rest of the game.
Jameka must sit out the next 5 HoH competitions.
Daniele must sit out the next 6 HoH competitions.
Kail can never play for HoH again.
Jen gives up $250,000.00 if she wins the game.

And that is the sacrifice that won Jen the Power of Veto which she will use to save herself.

Jameka after the PoV Competition.
I have always thought Big Brother was cheap in offering only a half million dollars to the winner of the game. But this is low even for Big Brother. I'm beginning to believe their ultimate goal is to have the hamsters pay them for the privilege of being publicly humiliated.

Afterward Jen tells Kail "People didn't believe me when I said I'm not here for the money. This was the perfect challenge for me!"

Of course this is exactly what Daniele has been telling us she wanted to happen. Jen won the PoV and will save herself so Daniele can nominate Eric. But now that the reality it upon her both she and Dick Head are worried. They don't think they have the votes to get Erick out. Is Daniele concerned that her promise to Kail that she is safe this week will be broken? Not in the least. She could care less. It's all about getting what she and daddy wants. And that's Eric out of the house.

Daniele whines to her dad that they are all blaming her for the things they gave up during the competition because she told them to play to win. She says "Amber is saying it's my fault that Jameka has to sit out the next 5 HoH comps. They are trying to put it all against me." Well you wanted the HoH and you wanted control. With privilege goes responsibility. But of course the Princess only wants the fun part.

Daniele goes on saying "They are all flipping out. They are all against us." Dick tells her "We need to out Eric." He means tell everyone that Eric cast the votes to save Kail. He also has a neat little conspiracy theory to go along with it. He will tell everybody that Eric has been aligned with Kail since week one. That Eric is the real brains of the Mrs. Robinson alliance. That Eric has lied and betrayed them all from the beginning. He wants to do this right now. Daniele, ironically says, "Eric will just lie."

Dick suggests blackmailing him.....

Because of her sisterly relation to her "Big Brother" it's really important that Big Sister's identity remain covert - we wouldn't want the parental unit getting wind of her snooping and "ground" her. Fortunately around here they can keep a secret much better than most of the major networks!
