Big Brother: Rumors, Speculation And More Lies

Warning: Spoiler Material Below
Big Brother would not be Big Brother without a net full of rumors. Most of what I have seen posted this summer has been lame, silly, or obviously false. But sometimes they are interesting anyway.
There is one going around the net right now that I'd like to pass on to you. You may have seen it posted elsewhere. I've gotten several emails about it. I'll post it the way I am seeing it around the net. Then offer some ideas.
"Ok, I just got the Jen low-down from a PA at CBS. Apparently, very early on in the game, Eric was leaving the DR and Jen was going in. Eric had just received some instructions, but the staff left the envelope on the couch. Jen came in and found it, and saw HER name on the card (it was a vote on getting someone put on the block). At that time, they had to scramble and fill her in, although she doesn't know the names are coming from America- she just thinks it BB. This now explain why she's calling him 'Mr. America" (it's on the outside of the envelope), and why she's fairly cocky about knowing so much more than others. For the record, they did not tell Eric that she knows. Also, there has been no proof or even suspicion of either Eric OR Jen telling anybody else about his status. Oh, yeah- in return for playing along, if Jen wins the money, she does NOT have to give up the $250K she wagered."
This raises several questions.
What is the true identity of the poster?
What is the identity of the PA (Production Assistant)?
When exactly did this happen?
Jen gave up the $250,000.00 at the end of week three in the PoV competition. Is that "early on"?
I don't watch the feeds 24 hours a day but I'm usually watching them 12 to 16 hours a day. I've never once heard Jen call Eric Mr. America. But I could have missed it.
I've never seen any printing on the outside of the envelopes that Eric is holding in the Diary Room. And why "Mr. America?" Why not "America's Player?" But I'll be stopping and freeze framing it in tonight's episode.
And wouldn't it be a bit hard to explain Jen getting a $500,000.00 check on the early show with the ChenBot? America knows she is only supposed to receive $250,000.00 if she wins.
And why would a Production Assistant risk their job to share this information? Would you?
I'm not buying it.
In yesterday's commentary I mentioned that I thought it was odd that Eric has not yet played for veto. His ball has never been pulled from the bag. I didn't say it wasn't in the bag, but I implied it. Here's one of several emails that prompted.
Just wanted to comment on your latest writing… I don't think it's odd at all that Eric hasn't played in a Veto comp yet. I believe a ball with his name isn't even in the bag. How would BB explain Eric's decision to use the veto or not to "America"? They want "America" to believe they are making all the decisions for Eric so his having to think for himself regarding veto (comp and ceremony are both shown on Tuesdays) wouldn't coincide with how they want "America" to think they're pulling his strings. I say "America" in quotes because those who vote on Eric's assignments are most likely largely only TV viewers and not the diehard fans that watch the live feeds or even After Dark shows. That "America" is only fed what BB wants them to know or think through watching the shows. BB has to take a chance that Eric could be a houseguests choice but I'm certain he would be told to throw the competition without it being obvious to every one else. BB is loving having their hands in all the pots this year! And you can bet "Americas" vote will always go the way BB wants it to.
Love your commentaries, btw! As much time as I devote to watching the live feeds I always still love to hear someone else's point of view or just hear about a part I may have missed. I love this show but I do have a husband and kids so BB sometimes has to take a backseat to real life. I always check for new commentaries on Reality TV Calendar throughout the day to get my BB fix.

Because of her sisterly relation to her "Big Brother" it's really important that Big Sister's identity remain covert - we wouldn't want the parental unit getting wind of her snooping and "ground" her. Fortunately around here they can keep a secret much better than most of the major networks!
