If Eric's name is in not on one of the balls in the bag then somebody's name has to be on two balls in the bag. I would think the houseguests could easily tell by feel the number of balls in the bag. So whose name is in there twice?
And you're right. Eric could easily throw the competition if he got picked via "Houseguest's Choice." Which I am sure he would do to avoid the situation.
I think his name is on one of the balls in the bag. But if he plays he'll never win it.
Here's a letter I got from Todd on Dick and Daniele's strategy this week.
If Daniele is smart, and really is serious about winning this game, she will not backdoor Jen. She should backdoor Eric.
Jen is not the biggest threat in the game, Eric is, and her and her dad should realize that.
They have the perfect opportunity to get rid of the games best manipulator. I know they have a deal to go to the final four, but how could you possibly trust Eric?
A couple of weeks back, they had two rogue votes in the evictions that have never been solved. But when Eric had one foot out the door, and when Eric helped backdoor Dustin this past week. No rogue votes. Aren't they paying attention?
They have seen Eric's alliance, spearheaded by Dustin, save Eric from eviction in the 11th hour. Then one week later, they see Eric play a huge role in evicting the guy who saved him from eviction the prior week. If you are Daniele and Dick, how can you possibly trust this guy?
I know they have the final four agreement, but I don't see how they could possibly trust him to honor it, especially after what he did to Dustin. They can't possibly think that they are closer to Eric than Dustin was.
If Dick and Daniele don't take advantage of the perfect chance to get rid of the game's best player, Eric, they don't deserve to win. And if neither of them make it to the final two, they can look back at this week as the week they blew their chance to win. Because, if Eric gets the same opportunity that Daniele has, he is smart enough to take advantage of it, and likely backdoors Daniele.
Todd makes some really good points and I have to agree with him. The best option is to backdoor Eric. I don't think there would be a problem securing the votes to get him out. The downside is that Dick and Daniele will look bad in the eyes of all the other hamsters who will see them as betraying an alliance and thus even less trustworthy than they already are. And Daniele is already concerned that they have lost Dustin and Amber's jury votes. Would they risk losing another one?
The PoV Ceremony is tomorrow. I think between now and then they will consider it. But I don't think they will do it.
No other player in the house has been as controversial as Evel Dick. You've read my rants against him. Here's a letter from Phil in New York that is worth reading.
I know your feelings have gone back and forth on Dick. You liked him, then he was a "dick". Then you mentioned that he was a good player (but that isn't really a feeling). How do you feel now? Who is the real Dick? The nice, almost likeable guy of Thursday/Friday? Or the ass of last week? You know, I think Dick is BOTH.
Because of her sisterly relation to her "Big Brother" it's really important that Big Sister's identity remain covert - we wouldn't want the parental unit getting wind of her snooping and "ground" her. Fortunately around here they can keep a secret much better than most of the major networks!
