Big Brother: Veto To Be Used? Eric & Jessica's Showtime Moment?

Warning: Spoiler Material Below
Saturday night was quiet and calm in the Big Brother house. But not without the delusions and confusion that several of the hamsters are suffering with.
Yesterday saw the Power of Veto competition and for the first time Eric was picked to play. Also for the first time Eric won a competition. Maybe it is more accurate to say for the first time he didn't throw a competition.
It was also the third time that one of Ambers' "visions" did not come true and the third time she finished second in a competition.
On tonight's episode we will see Jessica's nominations of Zach and Amber but the PoV competition that takes place on Saturday and the PoV ceremony that takes place on Monday are traditionally not shown until the Tuesday episode. And that means America will not be able to tell Eric what to do with the veto. Which is probably why he felt comfortable going for the win.
The question now is will he use it and if so who will he remove from the block. I don't think he has any real idea of how America feels about Zach. But he does know from past viewer votes that America is not a fan of Amber. If he is truly trying to play as America's Player, and with the knowledge that America wants Amber out of the house, he will not use it to save Amber.
However this is the first time he is really allowed to make a move on his own and he might enjoy the freedom of doing that. But I think he will simply make the decision that is best for him and Jessica. And there are different viewpoints on that.
My viewpoint is that the Donato's are fierce competitors. Dick will do anything to win and Daniele is a major threat to win any competition. The worst thing that can happen for Jessica and Eric is to go to final four with them and have either of them get evicted. With the Donato's in a final three with Eric or Jessica it would require either Eric or Jessica winning the final HoH to prevent a Donato's final two.
I think the smart play is to use the PoV. Remove Zach from the block and nominate Daniele. You get Zach's vote to evict Daniele in the process. Jameka will vote to evict Daniele. Dick will vote to evict Amber. Eric will be directed by America to evict Amber. That's a tie and Jessica casts the deciding vote to evict Daniele.
They will have to suffer Dick's wrath but they are capable of that. And getting him out the next week will not be that difficult provided anybody but Dick wins the HoH.
Eric is constantly saying that he wants some one who really plays the game to win. I think he should be concentrating on either winning the game himself, or if he is truly falling for Jessica, concentrate on her winning if he can't. In other words if he wants someone who really plays the game to win, then he needs to really play it and not ride to final four with the Donato's in control and helped along by Jessica's competition victories.
But I don't think Eric would share my viewpoint. I suspect he will honor the alliance of four to the final four and when it is all over he will look back and see this as the opportunity to win a game that he lost.
Because of her sisterly relation to her "Big Brother" it's really important that Big Sister's identity remain covert - we wouldn't want the parental unit getting wind of her snooping and "ground" her. Fortunately around here they can keep a secret much better than most of the major networks!
