Big Brother: Amber Disappears - What's Going On?
Commentary by Big Sister

Warning: Spoiler Material Below
What's going on with Big Brother? Amber has disappeared. Or has been hidden. You decide.
Amber did not appear on the CBS Early Show this morning. Why? The anti-semitic comments? The tears? Has she completely broken down?
And then she did not appear on House Calls today. That is the first time an evicted housguest did not appear on House Calls the day after getting kicked out. Why?
To explain Amber's absence House Guests host Gretchen Massey read a statement from CBS that houseguests would no longer be allowed to be intereviewed by the press because of controversial statements the house guests have made and because that might somehow influence the jury vote. Really? That's a big ummmm. And you just know that House Calls, appearing on the CBS Big Brother web site, is going to ask probing questions that CBS doesn't want answered. Accoding to the statement that will apply to all future houseguests, not just Amber. So I guess that means nobody else goes on the early show either.
Although the CBS press site does include a new release dated today about Amber's eviction it does not contain the release Gretchen read.
Since they didn't have Amber for the show they brought Janelle from season's six and seven to sit in. They spent the time as usual. Answering lame questions from callers.
In between calls they bashed Amber for her crying but not her controversial statements. Janelle called her emotionaly unstable. Duh.
The highlight of the show was Gretchen calling Evel Dick a "crazy misogynistic piece of crap."
And here's another thought. Where was the greeting of Jen by Dustin at the sequester house. Why didn't we see that? Did Jen go? She threatened not to. And what if we don't see Dustin greeting Amber?
A lot of questions this season. And damn few answers.
Because of her sisterly relation to her "Big Brother" it's really important that Big Sister's identity remain covert - we wouldn't want the parental unit getting wind of her snooping and "ground" her. Fortunately around here they can keep a secret much better than most of the major networks!
