A Little Side Trip to Make a Point
Since we are getting close to the anniversary of 9/11 once again, it brings this so close to home. I just returned from New York City, I have visited there for three years in a row and never fail to return to "Ground Zero" where the Twin Towers once stood and where people's lives meant nothing to those that wanted to annihilate them and "teach" Americans that their way of life was despised by their enemies. Hatred is a terrible thing. Let's not perpetuate it. In a city like New York, you see every kind of person and in the time that I was there I never heard an angry word between anyone because of race or religion. In fact, as much as I love New York, I believe that the people are the main component of what makes that city so great. I visited the Lower East Side and went all the way up to 192nd Street and also walked from East to West through Central Park several times. Everyone that we met was kind and helpful.

Are We Back In Kansas?
How many times did America's Player promise his lady love, Jessica, that she would not be leaving the BB House? Too many times to mention. He pictured himself as the Knight on his trusty white horse that would come charging in to rescue his fair damsel in distress.

Silly, silly Jessica. Was her brain addled by true love? Who knows? She seemed to believe him. I didn't.

First of all, I found Eric to be extremely unattractive in every way.

Secondly, I thought Jessica was an absolute moron. How could she even fall for the weirdo with eyes that showed no emotion and eyebrows that showed too much of nothing. He looked like a ventriloquist's dummy.

Upon entering the DR and seeing his envelope he would say, "Let's see, what have we got here?" which was his $10,000 question. He seemed to think that he was the King of America with sayings like "All right, America, I will be happy to blah blah."

The Reunion
Has anyone realized that the closer we are getting to the end, the less we have seen of the people in the "Jury House?" That's a first.

I wonder how everyone feels upon seeing the other players turn up at the house in Mexico or wherever it is this year. I believe that they will definitely be re-grouping and planning their strategies for the end game. After all, we're just a week or so away from the winner.

Technical Difficulties - Or Not?
Also, sometimes I think it's my trusty DVR but there are many audio blanks where nothing is heard. What are they keeping from us? Am I being paranoid? I don't think so.

What fabulous surprises are the producers keeping from us? Seeing Janelle at the last Challenge and Dick falling all over himself like a hormonally charged 15 year old was enough to give me a great deal of entertainment.

Who would believe that Daniele was embarrassed by her Dad's flirtatious reaction to Janelle? I would. That was funny and repulsive at the same time. I do believe that Janelle whispered in his ear that she thought he was hot. Then again, I had always suspected that Janelle was a cheap ho. I did like her though.

House Calls and The Early Show
Gretchen Massey announced that former houseguests would no longer be interviewed on her show as well as on "The Early Show" which makes me a bit sad because I really enjoyed seeing the evicted HGs out of the House and able to articulate their feelings which would give us a little view into their ultimate jury vote.

The Reason for the Season
We will find out the winner for Season 8 next Thursday. My pick is Daniele. I would be surprised if it was anyone else since we know how wimpy Dick is around her. He must have a terribly guilty conscience.

I think that it was a very interesting BB8 this summer when it comes down to it. It always amazes me when people see things so clearly or intuitively, if you will, and then still don't act on those feelings.

As we all know, the hand of fate can often mislead us. It's quite possible that with the PoV and unforeseen circumstances can change the outcome of this game. Who knows what might happen? I certainly don't. I'm thinking that it's all up to Zach and he could be feeling his power as HoH for the first time and put up Dick and Daniele, although I doubt it. He has had no social relationship with Jameka and even though he would have to put one of the Donatos up for eviction, my crystal ball just fell off the table and shattered into a million pieces.
